I bought this to replace an older and slightly shorter cable. Turned out that the old one's male pin was separating from the wire inside. The new one fits firmly and I no longer have dropouts or occasional static. Definitely worth the small cost.

I was tired of my speaker cord pulling out of the cpu because it was too short. This fixed the problem.

For the price, this cord did just what I expected it to. It's slim and light, and the audio quality is great.The cord arrived on time inside a simple zipper plastic bag in a padded envelope. Easy to open and no wasteful extra packaging. I used it to extend the length of my unfortunately short-cabled headphones so that they would reach my mp3 player in my pocket. The female end looped around the back of my neck, and the male end ran under my shirt to my shorts pocket. I wore it this way for about eight hours a day, five days a week at work, occasionally coiling it up to stuff in my pocket or lunchbox. The cord eventually got kinda stiff and held the shape that it was usually in (as most cords do.)After about 6 months it stopped working consistently. Audio cuts in and out when I wiggle the cord at the base of the male connector. There's a bit of a kink there that seems to have loosened an internal connection or something.Overall, I got 6 months of exactly what I was looking for from this product, and that's just great for the price.
