Not impressed with the quality of the book. Considering it should be a gift very disappointed it looks worn and second hand 🤦🏻‍♀️

I love the story. I bought it to share with friends. Was disappointed when it was first delivered, there was no packing material around the book and the boxes is too big so the front cover was bent. But Amazon was amazing with their customer service and sent out another book with no charge and no return on the first one that was damaged.

they are both Xmas presents so have not been opened yet

We read it loud at the dinner table, and even my husband shed a tear. Great story of a boy who with a hard work and determination achieved his dream and bought himself a pair of hunting dogs. A story of friendship, sacrifice and love. We all loved it

「世界一簡単な英語の本」の最後に紹介されていた本だったので読んでみました。英米の小学校などで推薦図書に選ばれる名作だけあって、わかりやすい単語と文章で書かれていて、内容もしっかりした物語だったと思います｡ 個人的には私は犬好きなのでこの本を読むのがとても楽しかったです。わからない単語も数えきれないくらいあったけど、辞書を引くのを最小限におさえて、内容を理解しながら読みました｡そして最後には感動して泣いていました。洋書で感動して泣いたのは初めてです。これからもこんな「よい本」をたくさん読んでいきたいです。
