Hi, my husband wants a tortilla press, but i am concerned by the mixed reviews? do i need to find something "better"?

I would say yes. It works fine for what I use it for but doesn’t press flat enough for tortillas. Also the paint around the joint comes off and you don’t want that in your food. Hope that helps!
