Vic Firth American Classic 5A Drumsticks - 4 Pack

Nice sticks, well made. Good balance. Also try 5AN (nylon) for a brighter sound on the snare.

If you play Vic Firth 5A American Classic drumsticks, then you know everything there is to know about these. I normally would buy these at my local drum shop, but they recently went out of business, so hello Amazon. Next day delivery was perfect. Good price and great delivery.

We have 2 kids taking weekly drum lessons (for the past 5-6 years), and their father also practices on a less regular basis. So we have bought ALOT of drum sticks in the past five years, and we have tried many different brands. The Vic Firth sticks are always the favorite choice (along with the Pro-Marks). They have a nice heavy weight to them, and the sticks have very good durability. If you're not a drummer, you'll be surprised by how quickly the sticks get chewed-up by the hi-hat cymbal (especially by beginners). Many times, we have tried 'budget' sticks from Amazon, and although they are incredibly cheap - i can tell you that they are NOT worth it. The 'budget' sticks are extremely lightweight wood, and i have seen new 'budget' sticks last less than a single day. But the Vic Firth sticks have great durability. Lastly, the size "5A" is the most commonly used drumstick, for everyday drumming on a drumset. If your drummer will be playing jazz (or something 'soft'), you might try the "7A" sticks, which are thinner and thus not so heavy (and thus not so loud).

I've been drumming for over 40 years. The hickory wood is top-notch, durable and I find that the wood tips don't split easily like other brands I've used in the past. Highly recommend this pack to any drummer looking for reliable, high-quality sticks at a great value!

Could not find a better price for these sticks

Terrific classic drumsticks. Shipped fast, included 4 pairs as compared to other shops.

Vic Firth came highly recommended by a couple of drummer friends, and these are clearly high quality, and they feel very evenly weighted. Comparatively, these were offered at a very reasonable price. I'm only a year into learning the drums drumming and these are my first Vic Firth drumsticks (I have 3 other pairs of differing brands). I found them a bit slippery to grip... to the point that I actually roughed them up a little with sandpaper to find them more comfortable. That might just be me. I know these are probably technically the highest quality sticks I have. I'm mostly playing on an electric kit, so I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality.

Best of the best

Simply the best! Preis-Leistung beim Set unschlagbar. Empfehlung für Viel-Drummer.

Absolument parfait

My son is a drummer and these last longer than most of the drumsticks I have bought him over the years. He loves them and says the sticks feel great and the weight is perfect. Also excellent value for money.

Bacchette non conformi alla descrizione. Non sono 5a: hanno punta, peso e bilanciamento assolutamente diverso dalle Vic firth 5a. Reso fatto immediatamente.
