Worst boots I've ever owned, extremely painful I can't even wear them for a full shift. These boots have so many pinch points and sharp edges in the toe box and Quarter that makes wearing these very uncomfortable. It's a shame my previous pair of boots were Danner's and I had those for 8+ years. These are going on the shelf and probably never getting worn again.

I have been using these boots since January 2nd. I wore them for four months in the academy and I have been wearing them on duty for the past six months on Duty during my twelve hour shifts. I will say that these boots are very light weight and feel like a minimalist running shoe. They have a wide toebox which prevents any kind of chafing after wearing them all day long. They cup the heel of your foot nicely and even though the boot has a wide toebox, your foot will not slide around inside of the boot when you're running, walking or climbing. They are extremely waterproof and you will never have to worry about wet feet unless you submerge the tops of the boots. I have submerged my feet in these boots up to the lower part of my shin without any water seeping in. Down here in Florida that means alot to me and is worth its weight in gold. The boot itself due to the goretex is a little on the warm side and being leather, when the sun beats down on your toes you're going to feel it but its not overly uncomfortable. The only downside to the boot is that the soles in the area of the ball of my foot are almost bald. I would have hoped to have more tread after less than a year of wear. Granted, I wear these quite a bit so I cant really complain. I would also be curious to see how well a pair of these would hold up minus all of the drill and ceremony i did in the academy which involved quite a bit of pivoting on concrete. I thoroughly recommend these boots and give them five stars. They are the most comfortable boots i have ever owned.

Actually, My husband loves his boot!! Although, when he first order his "true" size (and he's had these type of boots before) it was like one size too small. We returned the boot and purchased the next size boot up and then the boot fit perfect. There is a shoe/boot chart for sizes near the boot picture. If your thinking of buying the boot check the shoe/boot size chart. It asks you to enter the size of your favorite boot and the chart will give you the size you should buy, however we still never checked the chart, becuase we didn't see the chart until we bought the next largest size boot up. Anyway if you need a lightweight boot it's a great alternative boot to heavier boots. This boot is very light weight and If you run alot in your job it works great, as well as very sturdy and comfortable!

I took these boots out of the box, put them on and went for a 4 mile run. No blisters and maybe one little hot spot at the end. After they they were broken in and felt like a favorite pair of shoes. I've worn them around the office and they've been breathable enough to keep my feet from sweating with no problem. And I took them out with duty gear (on ~25lb) for another 2 mile run. The terrain included concrete, gravel, turf, mud and water above my ankles with some snow mixed in for fun. Traction was great on all surfaces and they remained waterproof even when standing in water 1.5" above my ankles for 5 minutes. Over all for the price these are great boots. The only knock is they are a bit small. I ordered a half size larger than usual based on reviews and they fit perfect.y.

They really are so comfortable it’s wild. Light as can be but feel incredibly sturdy, and well made. I f$&ing love them.
