Definite game changer!
Complete game changer. I bought this because the device that sits on the dogs neck did not have prongs and I didn’t want them anyway. There are three settings one is for sound, one is the vibration (no shocking) and the third setting is sound and vibration. I’ve never had to go over the first strength of the vibration. My dog responds immediately and learns quickly. The effectiveness in her training has been outstanding. No batteries you just charge it so no extra money spent. The size was perfect. It was not overbearing on her neck and the remote has a carry string to plates on your jeans or around your wrist. The charge lasts a very long time before having to recharge!Definitely recommend!

Working wonders with my very vocally protective puppy
I haven’t even had this product a full week, and it’s completely turned things around. I spend a lot of time in my backyard, and my 7 month old pup loves joining me. Our backyard is bordered by four other neighbors’ backyards, with each owning at least one dog. This stirs up all the trouble, and it’s enough to drive anybody crazy. I bought the two collar/one remote pack, because I often watch my brother’s pup (my girl’s little half-sister), and I have yet to try it on her, but I’m excited based on the results I’ve seen on my dog. Both the collars and the remote are well made and sturdy. I did have to cut the collar to fit, and I recommend burning the cut edge to seal the threading. I went to charge the collars when they arrived, before checking the level as directed, and realized they came fully charged, which is always a plus. I’ve only ever had to press the button a dozen times or so. I think the sound is attention getting, but it doesn’t make her stop her nonsense and retreat, as well as the vibration does. I haven’t felt the need to do the combination of the two, and based on how well things are going, I don’t know if that need will arise. The first few times I used it, I had to use it more than once for each ‘punishment’ as she stopped a few times on her way back to me (and this was advised in the instructions). Now I only ever have to press it once, and most of the time, I just have to pick up the remote if my vocal command isn’t working, and she recognizes the sound and/or visual of me picking it up, and dashes right on over. At this point, she doesn’t even need to have the collar on, to get the message that it’s time to move on. For those of you with intelligent and stubborn dogs, this is magic. I was concerned that it might still hurt my pup, even without the shock or prongs. Luckily, it doesn’t hurt her, and I’ve never heard even a yelp of surprise. I think it genuinely just confuses and distracts her. Her reaction is usually to leave the area immediately and make her way to me. One problem arose early in use, which I think could be solved by not being as clumsy as me, or there being a lock option once you choose a power level. I had the power level set to 1, and when I went to use it for the vibrate setting, I accidentally toggled the button that lowers the power level, which made it go to the highest level (9), and I confused the living daylights out of my poor pup, on the first or second use of the vibration setting. Since being more careful and confirming better before I hit the action button, I haven’t had this problem again, but I think it’s important to be aware of. Outside of this mistake, I’ve only ever had to use level 1. Overall, I’m extremely happy and relieved to have found this product. I bought one of those ultrasonic noise flashlight devices, and it worked the first few times, but quickly became something she easily ignored, and it becomes ineffective when she’s out of range or eyesight. This works even when she’s out in the backyard, and I’m inside the house with the doors closed. I finally enjoy sitting in the backyard again, with my beautiful little lady at my side. I’m excited to see how it helps as I continue her training. Bless the makers of this product, truly.

Nice collar, with some room for improvement
First off, let me say, the collar does exactly what it says in the description. With that said, here is my review: I have traditionally used the Mini-Educator for my dogs (you will find them on Amazon). That is an outstanding product, with one (in my opinion) flaw - it is only good for a few hours at a time, because more than that is very irritating to the dog (think of having 2 electric prongs sticking in your neck, and the collar has to be tight). My dogs, after learning on the Educator, didn't need the 'shock' feature anymore, and were fine with just the tone and buzzer features. So, I looked for a collar that was (1) waterproof, (2) worked at a distance, (3) could be left on the dog's collar for days with no irritation and great battery life, (4) was effective, and (5) didn't cost an arm and a leg. Enter the PaiPaitek No Shock Dog Training Collar. It fit every one of the requirements I was looking for, the dogs respond well to it, and I am 99% happy with the purchase. - it is waterproof - the battery on both the collar and transmitter last for days - it is not expensive - is just part of my dog's collar now (like the dog's name, rabies tag, license, and AirTag) Now, why I did not give it 5 stars (these are all about the remote, and to be clear, these are my personal opinions - the remote works perfectly as is) - 1. The remote (transmitter) - they could have done much better with the remote. It turns on, but then goes into a power down/standby mode VERY quickly (8 seconds). It creates the tone/vibrate immediately (doesn't need to wake up to work). If you are working with one dog, that's fine, but if you are working with multiple dogs (the remote supports up to 3 dogs), then you need to wake it up, then see what is going on on the display, then switch to the correct dog, then do the action (tone or vibrate). Might not seem like much, but a few seconds could cost a dog its life if you are trying to make it stop heading towards danger. 2. If you look at the picture, the only buttons available to interact with the dogs (on the front of the device, where your fingers are not normally placed while holding it) are tone, vibrate, or tone and vibrate (that last one isn't necessary). But, the display shows the tone, vibrate, and shock features (this version does not have shock). The display of these settings is unnecessary, as there are really only 2 features to use (tone and vibrate, and each has their own button). 3. The remote isn't quite ergonomic - The buttons on the left are " + and - " to change the tone and vibration, the buttons on the face are for tone / tone and vibrate / vibrate, and the buttons on the right are on/off, and to select the channel (which dog you are interacting with). However, what you are going to use is the buttons on the face of the remote, which is NOT where your fingers are when you hold the remote - where your fingers hold the device are not where the actions are when training. It is designed more like a walkie-talkie than a dog training remote. 4. The tone and vibrate functions need to be on a settings menu, and lockable, so you don't have to mess with them once you figure out which ones work for your dog. Looking at the picture, the buttons on the left are " + and - ", but that does not equate to intensity for the tone. The 9 settings available are for completely different tones, meaning, find the one that works well for your dog (mine use tone 01), then that's it (Think 9 different ring tones on your phone). The vibrate function does increase intensity, but that is only to get their attention, and I honestly am not going to go through levels 1 to 9 to stop an incident- again, mine use level 01 and it works fine). 5. The display on the transmitter is almost useless as it is - you are not going to look at the remote when using it - you don't have time for that. As a training tool, you need to be able to have it in your hand and hit whatever button you need to correct a behavior. Those buttons need to be where your fingers are when holding the device. With that said - the display WOULD be useful if it showed (1) which dog I am working with, AND (2) the battery level on BOTH the remote AND the dog's collar. THAT would help me know when it is time to charge the devices. This transmitter really could be 1/2 of the size (maybe a little larger than a key fob, or maybe the size/shape of an electronic stopwatch), and just have the following buttons: 1. on/off 2. channel (which dog to interact with) 3. tone 4. vibrate (hold the button to increase intensity) The other settings (which tone, intensity, etc.) can use these same buttons in a 'settings' menu, since you really aren't going to use them while training. The display is pretty, but unnecessary, once you turn it on, check the battery life, and go to work. If the on/off switch was a push button instead of a slide switch, the remote could be waterproof also. If I can use the device without looking at (because my attention is 100% on what the dogs are doing), then it would be perfect. All in all - would I purchase this system again - YES. As said in the beginning, it meets all my needs, and the price point is great. I no longer need to use a shock feature for my dogs - they know to respond to a tone or vibrate. They both swim, so the waterproof feature is important. Being on their collars for days without irritation is important, so I don't have to spend time 'gearing them up' just to go outside for some training. It is a good, effective system; I just recommend some improvements to make it more user friendly.

Positive reinforcement with a gentler system
A young lab pup needing to learn manners, good behavior, and what is serious. Using this system has been very effective. I don't have to use it often. Our pup is gaining so much knowledge in his environment and he is easily distracted. This is a gentle reminder for him. Already demonstrating better choices when he is processing and most of the spontaneous actions are celebrated! Love this training system. Would highly recommend it.

Complete game changer!!
This has been an absolute life saver and one of the best training tools. Super easy to use & my dog responds well to just the beep. I’ve only had to vibrate him a few times over the last couple months, he hates the vibration so the beep is enough to stop him from doing any bad behavior he was up to. The charge seems to last a really long time too. I rarely have to charge it. So happy I bought this thank you! Stops him from barking, chasing cats, nipping, jumping, digging holes ect… we have a shepherd mix so he’s been a fun puppy lol❤️

My dogs wrecked them the first day I put on.😞

fit both collars. Only negative is that perhaps can not make as tight as easily as with conventional pin/hole type buckle. Have used however with both land/water training and have worked fine.

I am happy with the collar overall, especially happy with the yellow one as my dog is black.
