Is this durable? From reviews of other pans of this type, people have said that the nonstick coating peels off after a few months’ use.

I have yet to apply any type of lubrication to my USA Pullman Pan, as the manufacturer recommends. Over a dozen loaves and they slip out every time. I will, as a precaution in case there is a film, wipe out the pan and thoroughly dry it. I have not tried anything that is sugary, I cannot see why I would want a perfectly square of anything but a bread loaf. I have used mine since January 2022

What is the upper heat level?

What you mean by upper heat level? In electric ovens and the majority of gas ones the heating element is at the top. Bake with the pullman loaf pan as you would in any other bread pan.

How many slices of bread do u get from this pan?

It depends on how thick each slice is. Take the length of the pan, divided by the thickness you want in each slice to be, and you get how many slices. It's just math.
