I haven't had to use menstruation products in YEARS since my hysterectomy. I am going in for a surgery soon that will require pads for a short period of time. These are what my sister (much younger sister) recommended. They are thin, quite absorbant and do not feel like a diaper between your legs. They will work just fine. PS... these are for collection of blood and thicker body fluids, they will not work effectively for urine. If you have incontinence issues please use a product specified for that purpose. These will not absorb urine fast enough and will not hold the urine odor in.

The only reason I even bought these is because I ran out of my other ones and needed something quick just to get me by. However I did not realize how bad my other pads where until I got these ones. These are thin and as expected. They definitely absorb better than my other pads did and I have no issues with leaking or anything so far. The wings on my other pads sucked and I had issues with leaking a lot. So i definitely recommend these ones. There is also no weird scent either. I was nervous to buy these because of the few bad reviews but they ended up being great for me.
