These candle wick trimmers were a gift for our daughter. She needed a tidy way to trim her wicks and these were the perfect solution. The 2-pack was nice in that she can have one in the living room and another in the bedroom. Great choice for trimming candle wicks!

I hate to show my ignorance as I always used regular scissors because but I never knew candle wick trimmers existed. It wasn’t until I saw an ad from a local company that had these on sale. So, as always, I did a search on Amazon for a price comparison and found these for less than half of the price from the local vendor. Upon receipt I was pleasantly surprised of the sturdiness and quality. They were much easier and better to use over scissors. Great purchase for the price!

Nice a sturdy, long enough for deep candles. I was surprised how heavy they were but they cut wicks just fine and do what intended. Great value!

Good product overall, though it doesn’t work great in the smaller candle jars (because of the angle of the scissors…it should be more of a 90 degree angle from the handle to the blade…as is, it needs to be held at an angle so it doesn’t cut it low enough on all sides). I think the blade could also be a little sharper - it gets dirty with each snip, so helps to have a tissue on hand to wipe it down between snips.

This kit of 2 is great. My son has one in his bedroom, and we have one in the living room/ downstairs. If we had 3 instead of 2, I could keep one in my room instead of having to take the downstairs one up to my room. They work great. That ball of spent wick that causes large flames and smoke and soot comes off easily, and the blades form a tray that holds it to dispose of. The long handles make it easy to trim your wick in large (deep) candles (like the mason jar size or Tuscany, which is about 7" deep). I am glad I chose them.

Works fine and was able to get a pair for the price of one in the mall candle store. Using these does actually make a difference in 1. How long the candle seems to last (due to even burning) and 2. It keeps the glass candle jars squeaky clean if you keep the wick trimmed each time. No more black residue getting everywhere when I reach in to light it (particularly when the wick is deeper down and harder to reach after extended burning.) If you love candles and don’t use one of these you’re missing out.

Reliable and easy to use.

I originally ordered this so my son would trim his candle wicks and not burn the house down, leaving us all to sleep in tents in the yard. So far so good. Since it came with an extra one for me, I'm realizing it's the bee's knees not to have to wash the soot off my knuckles after trimming wicks with the only scissors I haven't hidden from surprise grandchildren infestations (and subsequently failed to relocate). Would make a fine stocking stuffer for the reckless candle burners in your home or life.
