C28 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver, 3.5mm Aux Audio Adapter for Car, Plane

Great little product. I have a receiver type of one in my car and have used it for YEARS so I can listen to my phone thru my car speakers using bluetooth but I needed the Transmitter function this one has so I can hook it up to my Denon stereo receiver and listen to my JVC turntable using my AKG wireless/bluetooth headphones. Also works well with my bluetooth wireless earbuds. The little Transmitter/Receiver switch on the side has to be switched to the right setting - and it's nearly impossible to see the "Tx", "Rx" stamped on it - had to use a magnifying glass. Also - this has a mini-stereo plug - so you'll need one of those 1/4" stereo to 1/8" stereo converters because most vintage stereo receivers (like my Sony, Sansui and this Denon) all have 1/4" stereo plugs. I have accumulated lots of those over the years so I didn't buy one so I cannot recommend one - but you'll want one that has the 1/4" stereo male to 1/8" female connector - and don't get the ones with the 1/8" female connectors that 'screw in' - oh - I'll just go to Amazon and find the one you want - this one: VCE 6.35mm (1/4 inch) Male to 3.5mm (1/8 inch) Female Stereo Audio Jack Adapter. $7 for two gold plated ones. Hmm. I may buy these - they are probably better than the ones I have!

It does what it says it does, I used it for transmission from my TV to headphones. It was able to connect no problems, no cutting in and out or disconnecting, atleast until the battery starts to die, then there's a series of warning beeps. This is one of the things I did not like, with a fully charged unit, I wasn't able to get through a 2hr movie before battery was dead. Aside from the weak internal battery, the volume was super low through my headphones and had to be cranked super high in order to get decent sound, not great sound, just decent. For that, I'll probably spend the money to get a better unit, and never use this one again. I would not buy again UPDATE 12/27/23 I'm updating to 5 stars due to the fact that the seller contacted me on their own, apologized for the defective transmitter and issued a full refund. That is great customer service and worth 5 stars on its own, I rarely see that kind of customer service anymore!

Sound quality is great, I use it in my car all the time, and the battery life seems good too. The range is very good, it can cover the entirety of an average Subway restaurant (I work there and use it on the speakers), but sometimes it cuts in and out if there’s a large metal object between you. Another thing is that when you first connect to it, sometimes it disconnects you and you have to connect again, but after that it works fine. If someone else connects to it it will do this to them, and then do it to you again when you reconnect. I don’t know about Android phones, but on my iPhone, when you turn it off, the little icon at the top of the screen goes away, but in your settings it still shows as connected, and you’ll have to disconnect to allow someone else to connect to it. If you choose to disconnect after you turn it off, when you turn it back on it will automatically connect. If you don’t disconnect after turning it off, when you turn it back on you’ll have to go into your setting and just tap on it will work again. It also registers to your phone (at least iPhones) as a pair of headphone with a microphone, however it doesn’t have a microphone, so if you answer a phone call you’ll have to switch to speaker so they can hear you. I’ve only used the transmitter (Tx) mode once to make sure it worked, and it seemed to work fine although the took a bit before it would connect to my headphones. Volume control is fine, although it’s much quieter than I feel like it should be. When I plug my phone into my car via a cable the volume levels seem about the same as the radio, but when I plug this in I have to turn the car volume up much farther to achieve the same volume level. Although it can be a bit quiet, it works amazingly. The weird connectivity stuff is the only thing keeping this review from being 5 star.

I have a iPod (not Bluetooth capable) I wanted to use with a portable Bluetooth speaker. I wanted to use this transmitter to connect the two. However, it doesn't work. When I got this thing, the battery was flat. After charging it with the micro USB port (no USB-C here). I was able to turn it on and get it connected to my speaker... But no music would play from my speaker. After checking the volume and repairing it a few times without success. I tried pairing it to my Bluetooth headphones. They paired and I could Hear the Music.... in mono-sound. These thing are advertised as being "stereo " but they don't use stereo sound. I paid money for this thing but it can't play Money by Pink Floyd correctly. This issue is likely why it didn't work correctly with my speaker. I was using a JBL Flip 5, that is a mono-speaker and I am guessing that was some how the issue? both ear buds played music in sync when I tried them. The sound quality could only be described as serviceable. Not good, but not That bad. The instruction are near impossible to read and they an brief to uselessness and in size 3 font. My thumbnail is bigger then a short paragraph of the instructions, They are Tiny!! P.S. Yes the iPod puts out a stereo sound signal I checked using a old wired set of head phones.

I've gone through several USB bluetooth adapter dongles (TP-Link, etc) that are inconsistent with connectivity and eventually bite the dust, allowing no devices to connect to my PC. Hard to set up in Windows 11, even with updated drivers, and I was constantly going in the settings to remove then re-add the bluetooth device to get my bluetooth headphones connected again. I eventually gave up with these dongles and instead tried this TX/RX bluetooth adapter, and it worked flawlessly for a while (about 5 months). There's no setup. You just plug it into a 3.5mm stereo audio output, turn it on and set to transmit mode, and connect your bluetooth headphones to the adapter with your phone app. No Windows settings to mess with. The battery charges with a USB connection and lasts about 4 hours with continuous use. I just left it permanently connected to USB to always stay powered on. Love the simplicity of this device but unfortunately it only lasted 5 months and won't allow any bluetooth audio devices to connect to it anymore. Price tag was cheap so I'm not disappointed. I do like the concept of these devices for listening to audio from my PC or any device with a 3.5mm audio output. Trying another device that's twice the price, hopefully it'll last twice as long or longer.

I tried this transmitter/receiver because I was looking for something very specific- a way to take sound from my mixer to my in-ear bluetooth headphones wirelessly without a body pack. The description said it wasn't made for live sound, but I thought it might work anyway, and it would be really useful to eliminate the body pack from my IEM setup. But I should have trusted the description- this transmitter (or maybe bluetooth connections in general) just isn't fast enough for live sound. There's a noticeable delay, even when transmitter and receiver are very close together. However, I learned a few things while experimenting that might help you: 1. The sound is good, no problems there 2. This transmitter/receiver CAN connect to a device that doesn't have a screen or interface. I was worried about that. This paired to my AZ09 receivers, even though neither device has a screen or could pick the other device out of a list. If you're having trouble, make sure the other device isn't already connected to something else- it has to have an open connection slot in order to automatically pair to this transmitter/receiver. Disconnect it, then turn on the transmitter/receiver again, and it should connect automatically. It took a few tries, but I made it work.

bought it to add Bluetooth to an older car stereo, and it worked right out of the box. Super easy setup — basically plug and play like advertised, no app, no complicated pairing process. Connection has been stable, sound quality is surprisingly good for a small adapter like this, and switching between transmitter and receiver mode is very convenient. I’ve also used it with a speaker and an older TV, and it did the job without issues. What I like most is it gives older devices new life without spending a lot.

I listen to local radio in the morning, to catch local news. Bought this to use with my radio in the morning when I walk my dog. Go tired of having the wired earbud get in the way all the time. Charged it up when it came in and used it the next morning. Paired it with my Galaxy Buds+. Turned everything off and they paired back up immediately when I turned it all back on. That part works well. Had to move the volume on the radio to 25 to get the same volume as 10 with earbuds. Sound quality/volume poor. Put radio in my pocket, sound would cut in and out as I walked. I moved it to my waist (tucked it in to my waistband) and it worked a little better. Every time my arm would swing over the device the connection would get weak/disconnect. If the radio just lies on the desk or table it works fine but movement causes issues. Connection quality below average to poor. I have used it two mornings now and the battery lasts about 2 hours. Not sure where they get 4 hour battery life. Not really useless for me as my walks are not that long but I continue to use it back in the house while drinking my coffee, waiting for work to start, etc. But it does not last long enough. I turned it on at 6:10am this morning, got my first battery low beep at 8:15am. Battery life very poor. Overall a 2, I cannot recommend this.

El producto funciona, la quería para conectar como parlante a mi Alexa. Pero el detalle que me parece molesto es que al encenderlo, funciona bien, pero con el tiempo el sonido va ganando retraso que con 20 minutos, se nota mucho el atraso. Para solucionarlo, tengo que desconconectar del Bluetooth y volverlo a conectar; o apagar el dispositivo y volverlo a encender.
