Hansgrohe 26036001 Raindance Handshower, Chrome

Hi I bought this as a replacement for a previous Hansgrohe Raindance Shower Head. Fit perfectly and works well with no concerns.

I bought it as a replacement of my old Hansgrohe Shower Head that I broke after 10 years of use. The replacement looked and worked great for the first 6 month until the flexible tubing popped out from the head. My attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. The tubing popped off a each time after several days. Called to Hansgrohe and after a second attempt they agreed to send me a new tubing assembly free of charge.

It’s been 3-months since we received the two Hansgrohe Raindance Select S Low Flow 5-inch handheld shower heads as replacements for two 10-year-older Hansgrohe Raindance handheld shower heads. Overall, the household likes this new fixture. • Push button for switching between spray settings: Everyone likes this new push button vs the old lever switch. The push button is much easier to use. • Water conservation: We are pleasantly surprised by the feel of the 1.75 gallons per minute (GPM) sprays. The household agrees that the water pressure in the sprays is good. Our old handheld shower heads were 2.5 GPM. We were not allowed to reorder in our State due to new water conservation laws. • Rain: Good pressure for overall washing • PowderRain: This soft spray is great for in the shower facial care routines. • Whirl: The focused spray of the whirl setting will not give you a shoulder massage, but it is good at directing the flow at areas that need extra water for cleaning. Longevity The jury is still out on the lifespan of the Hansgrohe Raindance shower heads. We ordered/purchased the original two Hansgrohe Raindance shower heads June 02, 2012 from Pacific Sales (no longer in business) for a two-bathroom remodel which used all Hansgrohe/Axor fixtures. Let’s assume the shower heads were installed by our contractors by January 2013. This means the two shower heads only lasted 10-years prior to falling apart. I decided to replace with Hansgrohe fixtures because the original hoses were still good and I knew the new shower heads would fit. 1. Hansgrohe E 100 Air 3-Jet handheld shower head: The shower head is made of plastic. The photo shows the plastic chrome-skin cracking/breaking apart. The lever control broke allowing only 1-jet spray choice. 2. Hansgrohe S 150 Air 3-Jet shower head: The photo shows the stem cracking and water shooting out which reached across the room. Hansgrohe Warranty I reached out to Hansgrohe customer service regarding the old shower heads deterioration. I received no response. I went forward with my purchase because I needed to get the bathrooms operational again.

hansgrohe never disappoints. Beautiful chrome finish and ease of use with the push button design to change from strong pressure to pulsing to soft spray. Way better than the older version that requires you to slide the lever to change spray
