The Vansky Motion Activated Bed Light is an amazing product that offers the perfect solution for safe nighttime navigation. The warm, soft glow is gentle on the eyes and prevents the jarring effect of bright overhead lights. The motion sensor works flawlessly, illuminating the floor right when your feet touch it and the automatic shut-off timer is reliable. Installation is simple with the flexible LED strip. It’s ideal for kids’ rooms, older adults, or anyone who wants a subtle, low-light guide for midnight trips. Highly functional and comforting.

Ordered 3 units on 3 different occasions. Happy enough with the first unit to order a two more for guest bedrooms. First unit ordered works great and continues to do so 2+ years out. Either the 2nd or 3rd unit (ordered around the same time) failed after a few months of infrequent use. Swapping around parts allowed me to ID the faulty part which was the motion detector. Contacted Vanskytek support and explained the issue. Though it was probably out of the official warranty period they responded quickly and shipped me out a new unit right away at no charge. Less than a week passed between my original email to them and receipt of the replacement unit. The replacement unit works great and is actually a better model. Don't know if all models now shipping will match my upgraded unit or if this is just a better version that might sell for more: new unit has different plug sizes on the motion detector so that you couldn't accidentally plug the power into the socket for the lights and vice versa. It also has a dimmer knob so that the brightness level of the LEDs can be reduced. On the original unit the lights are quite bright.. in a pitch black bedroom after your eyes have adjusted to the darkness during sleep. These are inexpensive and do the job quite well. Especially if you have pets who like to hang around your bedside at night and get stepped on once in awhile when you get up in the dark. Also nice to avoid tripping on things or bumping into things at night even if you don't have pets. Highly recommended product and outstanding support. Would buy again!

This motion activated LED strip is a great source for nighttime illumination and I love the sensor with the programmable timer. My only major issue is the lack of adhesive sticky on the back. However, that is the major flaw regarding my LED strip - nevertheless I would buy another. I have another motion sensor LED lighting strip, but this Vansky LED strip comes with more options and features. Below is a list of the included materials: 1. LED strip 2. Sensor (with little dialing wheel to regulate the timer) a. round piece of 3M tape to stick along the back b. two small screws as an option to attach the sensor for a permanent placement 3. 2-prong adapter with 58 ½” electrical cord 4. 2 separate plastic clips with adhesive backing to hold and store the excess cable out of the way 5. extra roll of 3M mounting tape for the back of the LED strip (useless) I bought motion activated LED strip because I wanted the programmable option to regulate the timing of an automatic shut off in our bathroom. Other night light sensors do not remain lighted for a long enough time, which leaves us in darkness before we are ready to leave. Therefore, I chose this one with a timer that adjusts from 30 seconds up to 10-minutes. Originally, I tried to see if the LED strip would fit under the hanging lip of our bathroom vanity. However, the LED strip is too thick and interferes with our sliding vanity drawers. Therefore, the only other place to hang them was above our installed wall mirrors that reach almost up to the ceiling above the bathroom vanity. The first challenge was trying to stick them in a straight line above the mirror, but as I removed the adhesive backing, I was frustrated to find that the LED strip had NO sticky. Only the paper backing on the light strip has the sticky adhesive, but since that peels off, there no adhesive left on the LED light strip. In addition, the extra roll of included mounting tape is the same way – the adhesive is only on one side, and it should be double-sided adhesive tape, one side to attach to the wall and the other side to stick to the LED light strip. Therefore, the extra roll of 3M mounting tape is useless to me. This necessitated using my own 3M Scotch-mounting tape and cutting five feet in even lengthwise strips to fit under the LED strip, applying it on the wall in a straight line and without having any excess to show above or below the light strip. Then attaching the light strip and this entire task was a challenging and a time consuming job. However, this annoying installation was a one-time inconvenience. I will admit when finished, the LED light strip above our mirror looks attractive, every LED light works and it throws off a softer quality of light. It illuminates the entire bathroom without a blinding glare, and the 40” cable attached to the sensor, hangs down at the perfect height. In addition, the clips for the cables offer a tidy appearance. One other notable issue is the automatic shut-off sensor timer. I have this LED strip in a bathroom located in the middle of the house and therefore there are no outside windows to provide any light during the day or night. This has provided ample time on a 24-hour basis to note how well it works and any associated quirks. The sensor location is at the entrance and the LED strip instantaneously lights as I enter. The automatic shut off timer is set for the maximum amount of time – 10 minutes (?) However, sometimes when I am at the other end and further away from the sensor, the LED strip automatically shuts off after approximately 6 ½ minutes. Then it spontaneously flashes back on a few seconds later and stays lit until it reaches the original designated 10-minute power off time. Alternatively, the sensor has another quirky characteristic. Constant movement keeps the LED lights on longer than the 10-minute power off setting. I love that the LED strip remains lit and then automatically powers off a couple of minutes after I leave the room. Therefore, the sensor and timer on my LED lights seem sensitive to both movements, along with the programmable timer. If the LED strip had a sufficient amount of adhesive, this would be a 5 star product. Nevertheless, I would still buy another one of these LED strips for a different area of our home. I love the programmable timer feature and after the initial annoying installation, the LED lighting strip works perfectly well with a sufficient amount of light and without the blinding glare that comes from our overhead ceiling fixtures.

I love these lights. Easy easy easy to install and use. My husband gets up earlier than I do, so he can get ready without flipping on the big lights. Also I liked being able to get up during the night without worrying that I was waking my early rising, hard working husband. Very bright for clear view. I liked them under the bed because the light shined on the floor and not in my eyes. I tried them under a dresser across the room and they were too bright as they shined in my eyes. I will need to buy them again soon, as the robot vacuum liked them too and snatched off a piece when I wasnt looking. Next time I will be sure to hang them out of the reach of the roomba. I will buy again. When I first received them I was sure if they were working properly. I contacted the manufacturers through the contact info in the packaging. They were helpful!!! Turns out not only to they come on when they detect movement. They also have a light sensor, so if the room is already light they will not come on and waste electricity. It worked perfectly.

On our last cruise, we loved the subtle motion-sensing lights that came on when we got out of bed in the middle of the night. We thought these Vansky lights would behave the same. Ah, no. When finally installed we discovered that the lights had a dim view of their proper functionality. After about 1.5 seconds of motion, they come on and stay on for N seconds (based on the setting), and then turn off--even if there continues to be motion in view. Once motion is detected again, it takes about 1.5 seconds to come on. This flashing makes them far from satisfactory. I contacted the manufacturer and they (eventually) replied but kept asking for more and more information including a video of the behavior. And then they ghosted me. My initial review as as follows: First, they're ugly. The cords and light strips are all white so they are far more obtrusive than we would have liked. Next, the instructions are beyond sad. What they don't tell you is that you need to place the motion sensor WELL under your bed or, in our case, under a nearby dresser. If you don't the sensor sees you turn in bed, so the lights come on come on--over, and over, and over again. Once that problem was solved, they worked, but they are bright white and there is no option to dim them (a little light goes a long way in total darkness). They're bright enough that the neighbors think we're signaling to passing ships. There is some mysterious orange tape included, but we're not sure what that's for. I finally discovered that this orange tape (which should be installed BEFORE the lights are installed) can dim the lights and change it to a softer glow. Again, no mention of this in the pseudo-English instructions.

My wife wanted a light to come on when she goes to the bathroom at night and when she gets dressed for work in the morning while I'm still sleeping. This works perfectly. It was easy to stick to the bottom of the metal bed frame and the sensor is at the head of the bed on her side. It was only long enough for one side but puts out enough light for her to see to the closet on her side of the room plus the bathroom on the other side. At the same time it does not wake me up. You can set how long it takes for the light to turn back off. I set it to the max of six minutes. I wouldn't call it a warm white but it's fine.

I absolutely love this product! I wake up super easy at night and every time my wife would get up she would turn her lamp on to see where she was going, which would wake me up! After installing these lights, that does not happen anymore! Pros 1. SO easy to install! 2. The "time on" is adjustable which is super helpful 3. Great price 4. The light isnt as bright as a lamp or overhead light, its just enough 5. The motion detector picks up all motion Cons 1. The motion detector picks up all motion! lol Dogs and cats set off the motion. which isn't really a huge con, just expect it to happen.

I bought a pair of these to put on both sides of a queen-sized bed. It was near perfect. The light is a harsh white. However, I followed the advice of someone else who posted a review on this and I used an orange chalk ink wet wipe marker to color over the individual LEDs. Chalk Ink Wet Wipe Marker, 6 mm, Candy Corn Orange This resulted in a nice warm glow that my wife and I are quite pleased with. Some other things I bought to go with this was some velcro and some nylon self-adhesive twist locks uxcell Nylon Self-Adhesive Twist Locks Wire Holder 25 Pcs Off White . I attached the velcro on the back of the led strip and the sensor so that it would be easy to remove them if I wanted to, and I added some additional twist locks to the underside of the bed to hold the wires in place since the single twist lock that came with the unit was not sufficient to keep the wires out of the way of my cats who will tug at anything hanging down off of the bottom of the bed. I'm so pleased with this, I'm probably going to buy another one or two to place elsewhere in my home. EDIT: Fast forward a couple of months and one of the two units I bought is malfunctioning. Only just few of the beginning segments of the strip are lighting up. If I wiggle the strip at the point where the it stops lighting up then it will sometimes light up to another point further down in the strip. It appears there's a short in it. The annoying thing about all of this is that the strip is affixed to the bottom of the bed where it has been since I received it from Amazon, so it hasn't seen much handling. If it works, it's great. But this has caused me to question its durability.

Tendrás que ingeniártelas para ponerlo a la cama, ya que viene con unas tiras adhesivas que se ven de poca resistencia

Me agrada el producto por q es súper fácil de instalar, me encanta por q para mi madre q es una adulto mayor, le es de mucha utilidad al pararse por las noches varias veces para ir al baño y así no tener q encender la luz de la recamara, se lo recomiendo a todos aquellos q tengan esta misma situación.

Compre dos tiras. Una no sirve el sensor y nunca se apaga, la otra sirvió como media hr y dejó se funcionar.
