Chef'n 102-812-017 Cob Corn Stripper

Had to share that this is the absolute perfect tool for corn! I like the taste of fresh corn on the cob as it just hits different than canned or frozen. But I hattttttttttttttttttte the feeling in my teeth of biting it off like an animal. And I'm too clumsy with a knife to try and cut it off that way. This solves all my problems! There is zero risk for harming yourself in using this. It fits perfectly over the cob and when you twist the kernels just come right off easily. They also don't fly everywhere making a mess, instead they sort of pop up into the holes in the thing and can be neatly poured out. I'm a big fan of this, and now going to buy corn all the time now.

Works great, I roasted the corn then used only issue was i had to wait fir the corn to cool some.

Works well and cute to look at but it takes up too much space in my kitchen for something I don't use every day.

Please use this with the corn in a bowl or other container so that it collects all the kernels while you're using it. I bought 2 of them, one for me and one for my son to use. I purchased several ears of corn from the store and them came home, used this thing and then we vacuum sealed about 4 bags of kernels. We figured out that 1 small bag of frozen corn that you can buy in the store, runs a about 2.00, and it holds only 2 ears of corn kernels. So we spent less than 75 cents for 2 ears of corn, removed the kernels and then vacuum sealed and froze them for way less. This is something I can add to stews, soups, or anything else that we use corn for. It's crazy simple to use. Just slip it over the corn after you've removed the husk and silk and just push the corn stripper down and twist it around the ear of corn. It was so simple and fun to do. Once the bowl or container was half full we just poured into a vacuum seal bag and sealed it shut, threw it in the freezer and bam, done! I prefer to use a vacuum sealer since we don't have a separate freezer and the ears of corn just take up too much space. Buy it, try it, for the little amount you pay for this, it'll pay for itself the first time you use it.

It works if the cob is not too large. So not with all corn cobs. But the product is good with the right one! I have small drawers and it fits while many products do not. Washes in dishwasher and is made of nice quality plastic

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. It stripped the kernels off the cob so cleanly and quickly. I normally use a paring knife to cut the kernels off but never again. It's a small tool but it makes a big difference in my kitchen. Love it!

Does not work well. There are better things available.

This item is difficult to find but essential if you plan to can corn. It is easy to use and a very simple tool. The corn fits inside the tool and you turn the corn. The size of the corn doesn’t seem to matter. I stripped 11 large cobs in about 20 minutes. No fuss and no mess! ( 7 pints). Easy and quick . I highly recommend this tool.

No se requiere de mucha fuerza, se necesita girar y empujar, El elote queda bien desgranado ademas es de fácil limpieza. En conclusión lo recomiendo ampliamente, yo lo utilizo para hacer esquites 👍

Bought it for my children that they can’t eat corn on the cob because they are wearing braces, and it’s amazing on how it does the job!
