Final Touch Watermelon Keg Tap Kit with Coring Tool

Worked perfectly! My watermelon keg was a hit! Easy to use. Just added a bottle of vodka to the watermelon juice and some mint. I froze one cup of juice ahead of time as well to help keep the drink inside cold. Prepared it the day before and refrigerated the watermelon and juice. Poured it all together once my guests arrived. Yum!!

I bought this because of a video I saw on the facing book about how to put alcohol into a watermelon. It's as easy as it looks. Pro tip: don't carry the watermelon outside without putting it in a bag or something first. I carried it out by hand thinking it was empty. In reality, there was a lot of fluid leftover and it all came spilling out when I chucked it into the trash. Now it looks like I murdered a raccoon while he was asleep in one of the chairs on my front porch. I really should have just thrown it into the shrubs but I didn't want ants. Every day of my life is Hell.

The product is great, but I paid extra for it to be sent as a gift and not only did it not arrive on time, but it was delivered to the wrong address. Not happy.

Worked really well - exactly as advertised. It's not metal, so don't expect it to be super sturdy, but it's still plenty strong. The tap is big enough for blended watermelon to pour through. If you do make watermelon daquiris I'd recommend straining out the pulp though. I used this for about 10 hours without any issues except for 2 times when it got clogged and we had to use pressurized air to clear it. Not a big deal, but with the pulp strained out this would work perfectly.

Leaked slightly and got clogged by minuscule pieces of watermelon easily. Probably needs a screen or something. I mean it worked for the party, but I don't think I'd use it twice.

Our daughter turned 40 in July. We gave her a huge 40th party. The watermelon keg was a HUGE success. I am so happy I saw it in time to have it for the party. Some people thought that the watermelon was not real that's how good it looked. Loved it, we plan to use it a lot it's so much fun.

This was a really fun thing to do at our family party. It was certainly impressive. I was surprised how easy it was to install in the melon! The only issue, and the reason for the four star rating, is that it leaked at the connection near the spout. Next time, I'll put plumbers tape on it to see if that solves the problem.

My first time to use it went great. I chose poorly on recipe but the spigot worked great. I did not have any leaks. I filtered the watermelon juice so there would be no clogs to deal with. After it was over I was able to clean it in soapy water. Keep an eye on the gaskets. You do not want to lose them.

This spout works perfectly and is easy to use. The only issue is that if you put it on the curved portion of the watermelon the spout will be facing downwards and of you put out higher up you'll have to tip the watermelon to get to the liquid at the bottom. The only solution would be to find a square watermelon or put it on the flat yellow side, making it less instagram-able.

Wir haben den Hahn zu einem Geburtstag verschenkt und entsprechen eine große Wassermelone, Spirituosen und allerlei Cocktaileqipment besorgt. Alles in allem natürlich kein günstiges Geschenk, aber es kam wahnsinnig gut an und war der absolute Hingucker. Toll gerade als Geschenk bei einer Sommer Party! Wir haben die Melone zuhause vorher ausgehüllt, die Kerne entnommen und das Fruchtfleisch zur Hälfte gestampft wieder eingefüllt. Unten wurde ein Stück abgeglättet, damit sie genug Stand hatte. Oben das Deckelchen der Melone wieder aufgesetzt und so ohne Probleme sogar im Auto transportiert. An der Party angekommen, wurden das Fruchtfleisch kurz umgefüllt und der Hahn eingebaut. Dies war Dank Anleitung wirklich kein Problem und trotz Bedenken, er könne nicht stabil genug oder dicht sein, ging alles ganz wunderbar! Das Fruchtfleich ging anschließend wieder hinein, die Spirituosen und Crashed ice dazugefüllt hatten wir einen super Cocktail zum selbst zapfen. Wichtig ist, dass alles so flüssig ist, dass es auch durch einen Hahn passt und der Hahn an einer möglichst flachen Stelle eingesetzt wird. Also Top!

This worked a treat! I looked up water melon cocktail recipes online to fill it and getting the tap in was quite straight forward. It was a real novelty at the party!
