Python 323 - Perfect Upgrade.
I have the Python 323 (also known as the Python 3203P) installed in a 91 mustang, and this sensor plugs right into the brain with no wire splicing (4 pin MUX port - zone 7) - cable included with sensor. Works like a charm. I installed mine on the ceiling in front of the dome light, and ran the wire through the headliner over to the drivers side frame. I placed the sensor up there because it seemed to get the best response. It warns when someone is near the front or rear of the vehicle as well as the sides. This was my first alarm install, and I'm impressed with this product. If you have an alarm system that has a 4 pin MUX port, this is a great sensor to easily add another layer of security without breaking the bank. Get it! Great Invesment!!!
I bought this product hoping it will bump my security features up on my S10. Well it did! I love this product it helps me keep crooks and especially cats of my truck. I have an auto page alarm and all I had to do is bypass the shock wave sensor with a few wire taps. All the colors are the same and no problem at all. I also installed a toggle switch, which helps me turn it off when I am at car shows and other events like that but anyways this product is amazing. Well worth the money i highly recommended it to any person who has a lot invested in there vehicle.

Radar disturbance detector
I put this detector on a Viper 350Plus alarm. It is very simple to plug in the connector plug. I did install the alarm myself and that was not real simple. The detector works great but is a little weak back at the rear doors on my full size Ford cargo van. The unit is mounted on the ceiling 1 foot behind the front dome light. It functions great from the side doors forward when the van is empty, when van has lots of cargo the sensitivity is less. I have it set to max level on warning and full alarm adjustments when in my driveway and turn detector off with three presses of the alarm button when setting alarm in parking lots. It will sense anyone approaching any door with a window in it. It does not detect through the sheet metal body.

Good for the value
I installed this with the Viper alarm. It works fine. The only detail is that sometimes the sensor field increases or decreases without manually modifying it. It is quiet tricky to set it to the right setting. But overall a must buy if you care about your belongings.

Fantastic Add on for my S2000
Well, I purchased and installed the viper 3305v a few months back and then sold my hard top for the S2000 so it bothered me that someone could basically have their way with the soft top without ever setting off the alarm. Added this proximity sensor and it works flawlessly...plugged right into one of the open ports on the viper and ran the wiring to center of car. VERY easy to understand adjusting the settings. Basically, set it, step away, test it...then turn car on and off after making adjustment to reset it and test it again. Now, if you come look in my window it'll WARN you to back off, put your arm into the car and it triggers the alarm from both sides of the car. If that fails, I have a woodchuck with a serrated knife and a bad attitude in the trunk! For $22, what the heck are you waiting for? Buy it.

My 2nd 1 within 1 month
I have a 15 Sierra that’s in the hood. Windows been broke twice. So I upgraded viper system with tilt, glass break, 2 dual shock sensors and the 508D proximity sensor. 508d is the key to complete an alarm system to me. But it’s useless if you don’t adjust it correctly. Mine is perfect try an look in my window it chirps. Windows open reach in it chirps depending on how far you reach in it goes full alarm. My issues was I placed it center line directly on top of my audio amp. So when I tilt the rear seat up it’s okay and fine. But when I let the seat down it unknowingly crushed my first 508d. Sucked but it was my fault. But I made the decision cause the wire it came with tan short. So I kept the old wiring from the 1st sensors and extended the wiring when the second sensor came in. So now it can slide forward where as to not be crushed by the seat up or down. My only real con about this item is it’s ugly. This item would be a 10/10 if it was somehow not ugly lol. But it is a must have. Took about 2hrs of adjusting and testing to get it perfectly set. But I’m a perfectionist so I enjoy the challenge. Will buy again if this breaks or if install another security system.

Not reliable. Alarm goes off randomly. DON'T BUY THIS!!
The only thing I can count on this alarm to do is to drive my neighbors crazy at all hours. It doesn't work like it's supposed to. It's been nothing but a hassle. I guess I shouldn't be all that shocked based on how little I paid for it. You get what you pay for. Oh and I'm pretty sure that it killed my 2017 Jeep's battery. I've changed the settings on the motion detection several times, to the point where you have to be inside the vehicle to set it off. Yet it randomly goes off for no reason. There's no motion in or around it, no animals, no people near it, no rain, no wind, nothing, yet there goes the alarm! It has a mind of its own. Sometimes it goes off when someone is 5 feet away from it. Other times I get inside the Jeep, sit down and start fidgeting with things and the alarm stays completely silent. I went out of town for my work for 3 days and left it in a warehouse parking lot at my work. I made sure it wasn't near any other cars so nothing would set it off. Yet when I got back, I had complaints from workers inside the building saying it went off randomly day and night during those 3 days. A couple days later and my battery was completely dead and had to be replaced.

Works great when properly adjusted.
This is a must for any alarm system. Just the shock sensor alone won't give much protection. This way if someone is too nosy around your car it will do a few warning beeps and if they stay there the full alarm will go off. But it has to be adjusted correctly! Two things to remember when adjusting: 1. It takes 20-30 seconds to fully arm and expand the radar circle. So don't just arm and step right up to the car, wait until it's fully armed and then test the sensitivity. 2. After the warning has been triggered a few times, most DEI alarm systems lower the sensitivity to prevent false alarms. This makes adjusting nearly impossible. To "reset" the sensitivity, just turn the ignition on and off after every time you adjust the sensor. Just keep those two things in mind because they're not mentioned in the manual. Other than that just follow the manual and you'll be good.
