I guess i should have been more specific. the clamp on the valve body. i am aware of the hose clamps. some photos show it with a clamp, others do not.

make sure you use all clamps or it will separate

Does this restrict the raw water flow in any way?

It doesn’t seem to restrict water flow. But I’ve got to warn you, I’ve had two of these crack and fail (see my review and picture).

Is it necessary to close the seacock when flushing your engine when on a trailer? Also, this comes with the entire kit right?

No, you don't have to close the seacock as there is an internal check valve. And yes, it comes with what you see which is the flushing adapter and two hose clamps. You will have to attach your garden hose to the white piece which protrudes from the side which if the hose if very deep in your bilge can be a problem. I found a short 4 ft hose extension which I attached and now I can easily grab that from outside the boat standing on the trailer. One suggestion is to, after cutting out a section of the engine's suction line so that the adapter will fit, apply some dish soap to both the inside of the hose as well as the outside of the barbed adapter. This will make getting it to go into the hose a lot easier. (Don't forget to slide the hose clamps onto the hose first!

If you turn on the hose with a lot of pressure won't all of this pressure then go into the engine/water pump/hoses etc?

I wouldn’t use full water pressure. My review and picture show’s the true design flaw in this plastic valve, don’t waste your money like I did three times!
