Amazing Solar Powered Pond Pump!
Amazing Solar Powered Pond Pump! It works really well for my small pond (400 Gallons). I have it running @ 12V with a battery backup for night. During the day while the solar panels are charging you can really see the flow running at 660G/H@12V. Overnight and into the early morning it runs at a lesser rate when my battery is @ 10V, but, that's to be expected. The fact is it still runs with more water flow @ 10V than any other solar pumps I've used running @ 12V in the past. Another note, my solar controller says this pump is pulling 1.1 to 1.2AMPs which is the same as other solar pumps that don't even do 1/4 of the flow rate. Very efficient use of power compared to the volume of water flow! "Brushless motor is designed for 24/7 operation for more than 20,000 hours" which is about 2.2 years. If I get 2 years out of this pump at the present flow rate, I'll definitely purchase another one in 2 years. I'm hoping this pump lasts over one year, but, if I hit 2 years of 7/24 use that's amazing! I Highly recommend it for Solar use! Thank you!

Pumps a lot of water volume
pumps great sometimes too great, use it in my wife small goldfish pond , powered by solar panel, we use a rheostat to control the amount of flow, worked for about a year , before we replaced it with this one. I got really plugged up with grass so may have been the cause of failure

Powerful pump and works great for our pond
Powerful and functional working fine for my water fall. Easy to install. As you can see in the video, this pump packs power even through filter material. The electrical cord could have been about a foot longer for our pond configuation. Made some adjustments and the cord is just right. Our pond is powered by 2 solar panels and 2 solar batteries with two inexpensive charge controllers. I had to rewire the connection for this new pump. It only took about 10 minutes. I have installed shut off switches so we can clean the pumps and filters easily. Because solar panels power provides power with sun and the batteries run the pumps at night there is never a loss of power and operation. This filtration equipment runs 24-7 all year long, even during snow and ice. Now we enjoy our pond from our deck and hear the falling water. We have used smaller pumps in the past and this pump is outstanding in performance. The Koi love it too.

Strong DC pump
Powerful. I'm running below 33 watts at 18v for some reason which is a win. Finding connectors is next to none. I had use a 1 inch ID hose to a 1/2 inch hose with a clamp. Paying so much for a pump with an odd attachment was a bit of a gamble. You can't connect anything else without using the default 1 inch screw attachment. It's odd fitting it into a tight space due to the attachment arm being so bulky. Also, the housing is large and unnecessary for my application. I decided not to use it because it's so bulky. I had to add suction cups to the bottom for scratch protection. The electrical plug is larger than previous pump models, not a quick swap as expected. It runs silent with a low hum but that's expected. The auto dry shut off is a nice feature but not something I require and probably would have made the cost cheaper without imo. I really wish the pump sold without the housing and with suction cups at a cheaper price. If a 1 inch ID to 1/2 inch barbed connector was included I'd be happy with my purchase but it wasn't as quick a setup as previous model pumps which is I knocked a star.

Best pump I've found so far.
I have a large liner pond that I have struggled to keep good pumps and water flow with. These pumps are the Best of the DC pumps I have encountered so far. Very happy with them not clogging up when the Algae blooms. Can be directly connected to solar panels, and will run still at around 10v on a good battery.

Best pump ever
I just wanted to say that this pump is magnificent, I have installed it over three years ago on a waterfall and it has been running 24/7 for over three years now through 3 winters and 3 summers. Zero maintenance working off of a laptop transformer. It is now coming to the end of its life. It out preformed any pump I can think of.

Pump failed after about 240 hours, nowhere near the 20,000 hours claimed.
Pump failed completely after about two weeks of operation for about 12 hours per day. it was submerged in a clean pond. Opened the housing and found that the motor would just buzz and not turn when powered. Unreliable and not worth the price.

Died after 3 months
Had one of these pumps that went trouble free for several years. The new one that I just got in August 2021 died in the middle of November. Not sure if I got a lemon or if their quality has went down over the years.

Great pump!!
I bought this pump for our backyard pond in 2022 and it has been running great since then. I have it hooked up to two 100 W solar panels and a 77 amp-hour deep cycle battery and it runs 24/7 from April to October. I live in the interior of BC, Canada, so starting in October there is too little daylight for it to run for 24 hours, so that is when I pull out the pump and winterize the pond. The top of the waterfall is probably at least 6 ft vertical distance from the pump in the pond, and the pump has no problem providing enough flow to keep the waterfall running at a good rate all day. Really impressed with this pump and it's definitely worth the extra money over the bilge type pumps you can get for cheaper. One of those was what originally came with the first 100 W panel and solar controller I bought, and it was constantly shutting on and off because the draw was too high, even when I bought the second solar panel, and it also rusted out really fast. This pump is so much better! I pretty much just set it up in a box with some filters in the spring and forget about it until the fall. I just give the pump a bit of a rinse now and then when I clean the filters.
