It works on my Phillips Dream Station and old Phillips System One. Your directions should identify the type of card you need--main difference is the # of gb--and I was told anything over 8 should work.

After visiting the Sony website and reading the full technical details I don't see anywhere that is says it can take any removable media, only USB connections to transfer images out.
