I bought it for Carribbean and Florida sun trip but ended up using it in one of those Florida hurricane band rainstorms. Was very pleasantly surprised at how well it held up with the wind. It did flip inside out once but given the wind it was fair, and aiming it back into the wind it popped back into place undamaged. Great not to have to take two items can use for rain or sun. It is a bit ugly wish they would make pretty print but it’s a good quality.

We bought two of these sun protection umbrellas for going to my grandson’s baseball games, and then we bought two more. They’ve been invaluable! They protect you from harmful sun rays, you feel much cooler under them than under the sun’s heat, and you’re also able to see the games without the sun in your eyes. The whole family loves using them! They’re well made, and invaluable with how much more pleasant they’ve made watching the ball games in the sun.

I'm fair skinned and have suffered many sunburns, but still love to walk in the afternoon. Most of the walking path I use is under trees, but there are gaps where it's very sunny. I'd been using a standard black umbrella, which worked ok. Then I came across this umbrella and figured I had nothing to lose. I was astonished at how much better this is vs a regular umbrella. It actually lowers the temperature! It pops open quickly when I need it and is very easy to close. I loved it so much that I ordered one for my sister who lives in Florida!!

I was buying a Totes $12 umbrella every 3 months for the sun, without UV protection before they broke. I use this probably 4-5 times a week and I have used it a few times in the rain but not downpours. It does the job, it feels cooler underneath. Not quite like you're in the shade but you can feel a difference between a regular umbrella and this. However, I bought this 6 months ago and there are some small holes in the fabric due to friction. For sun, so far it doesn't impair usage but the problem will probably get worse over time. If it lasts me a year, I think it's worth it. I also bought a Coolibar umbrella at the same time for a family member. It gets less use but is in better shape.

This umbrella works incredibly at blocking he sun. I live in the south and it gets hot….. with this umbrella there’s like an instant 5-10 degrees cooler effect. It’s great in the rain and has a sort of design that the wind goes through without inverting the umbrella. Great design.

I have used this umbrella for years now, probably about 5 years, on a daily basis. I am very sensitive to the sun, I use this rain or shine. It is now starting to wear through the fabric bit at the folding points, I will get a new one after this summer before the rain, but after 5 years or so I've gotten my money's worth out of it!

Purchased during my cancer journey to keep the sun off my chemo skin and its worked like a charm! Strong wind doesn't cause it to flip up, and it's resistant to short bursts of rain. Great buy! Out of 3 purchases its the only one I've not returned.

The sun blocking is amazing. It’s cool underneath it which is great but the handle is quit short. I use it at the baseball field. I’m doing to get the larger one which my friend d bought and it has a longer handle.

Great Umbrella. Has a very strong rib and canopy is double layed offering effective protection from the sun.

Works well in the Dubai desert heat. Strong too, worth the value.

This is a lovely robust little umbrella with good shade abilities and I love the venting for strong winds. It is just that it is too big for a handbag (I keep it in my tote bag).

Excelente calidad, llevo varios meses usándolo y en efecto no le pasa nada cuando hay mucho viento, es bastantemente amplio para cubrir a dos personas, también se siente una sombra mucho más fresca que los paraguas convencionales. Lo único malo que le veo es que no es muy portátil por su tamaño, no es para meterlo a la mochila y mucho menos a la bolsa.
