I rarely ever write reviews, but this sleep mask is so awesome I felt compelled to express my gratitude. First off, I’m extremely picky about quality and products doing what they claim. Secondly, my head is on the smaller side so finding a mask that doesn’t fall off can be tricky. I looked at so many sleep masks and read tons of reviews before this one ended up in my cart. I work 12 hr night shift, so blocking out light for sleep (even with black out shades) is of the utmost importance. I generally have a tough time with things in my face or head and can’t even sleep with my hair down due to being a light sleeper, so finding a mask that isn’t irritating was also important. This mask blocks out 100% of light (even with all the lights on) it lifts completely off your eyes, so you can open your eyes and blink with the mask on. I wear false eyelashes so finding an eye mask that worked with lashes was also important to me. This mask fits my head without falling off and is completely adjustable. It can be made very small, medium, or even large. It is great quality all around. You can tell as soon as you open up the nice box and feel it. This mask is NOT some cheap junky piece of material with velcro. It is high quality, completely adjustable, and does not contain any velcro (many do and don’t last). This mask is not irritating to wear and the fact I can completely open and close my eyes without them even grazing the material is awesome. The price point for this product is an amazing deal in my opinion. I will be buying more for gifts to my fellow night shifter friends and a back up for myself in case I travel and lose it. If you wear a sleep mask and are in the market for a new one you can’t lose getting this one. Don’t even bother looking at the others. Das ist meine erste Rezension, weil ich so stinksauer bin, dass so ein Produkt so eine hohe Bewertung hat. Das kann unmöglich echt sein, denn diese Maske ist so mit das Schlechteste, das ich je in den Händen hielt. Schon die Konstruktion ist ein totaler Fail weil die Spannung des Bandes hinterm Kopf sich vorne genau ind er Mitte der Augen konzentriert - schlechte Materialverteilung. Dadurch liegt sie in der Mitte enger an als oben und unten und sitzt nicht nur unbequem, sondern lässt Licht durch. Dann ist das Band auch total dünn, was unangenehm zu tragen ist und ansonsten wirkt sie auch extrem minderwertig und billig, viel zu leicht, aus irgend nem billigen Synthetikstoff. Fazit: Leider kann man sich auf gute Kundenbewertungen nicht mehr verlassen :(

Short story: Finally, a full-coverage, soft, lightweight, mask that doesn’t pinch or pull or put pressure somewhere uncomfortable! I love the covered elastic & hardware. The soft nose wire and wide, wraparound style adds even more darkness, and blocks a little bit of noise too (I still use earplugs for planes & hotels). Long story: I travel a lot and work swing shift, and I’m also a side-sleeper, so my sleep and comfort are constantly changing. I’ve been using a standard, cheap sleep mask for several years now & finally decided to upgrade to something nice. This mask is above and beyond anything I expected. The silk is soft but not TOO slippery (unlike satin). The elastic and hardware are well-designed to create minimal pressure points, and covered with a layer of silk that can be pushed back to make adjustments. I don’t feel the hardware at all when I sleep. The tightest setting is *just* tight enough for my head, so smaller heads might have trouble getting a good fit. I love the wide, wraparound style, which solves the problem of the elastic rubbing on my ears, AND adds a bit of noise attenuation. The nose wire is soft but firm, super comfortable, and blocks more light without adding pressure points to the sinuses or nose. I wear a KN95 most places and this is 1000x softer. I also tried the silk, eye-shaped and molded, non-silk designs by Alaska Bear, and this was by far the best.
