These boots are well made and are attractive. The beautiful leather is soft. I needed a half-size larger and had to return the boots. They would have been a little too snug with heavy socks in cold weather in the toe area.

I'll be keeping the boots... because I already wore them.... but, even going up 1/2 a size (from my normal 7.5 to 8) they are narrow enough that it's difficult to get them on.... I'm self conscious of my large feet so I worry that the 8 makes my feet look even bigger... BUT, you can't fault that they're very well made, beautiful boots.. and comfortable (once you get them on). Beware that the shaft hugs the leg so it's def a boot for leggings or skinny jeans if you plan on tucking them in.... you'd have to WORK to get any other jeans tucked inside.... but I wore them with leggings and a sweater and loved the look!

I can shop for shoes and never ever find any that fit me right, but I have a pair of these distressed Durango slouch cowgirl boots that I bought probably 10 yrs ago, and decided to replace them with the same thing. The new ones are different, because there are definite folds that make it “slouchier” and the finish is very mat, not shiny like my first pair…I normally wear a size 9 or a European size 40 and I couldn’t figure out what size my old boots were so I took a chance and bought the 9 1/2 Medium. As it turned out, my old boots were a size 9 and even though I could probably go down a size, I like the fit of these. They are a bit narrower than I expected but still very comfortable in spite of my having a wide, flat foot.. One thing I love is how narrow they are in the calf area!!( more so than my old pair.) I have really skinny legs and can never find boots that aren’t huge in the calfs. These are the slimmest yet and I might even be able to wear them with a skirt. I am absolutely thrilled to have them! Super cool looking and not pretentious like some cowgirl boots look… just kind a look like you’re knocking around in your cowgirl boots:-) Update: going a half a size larger was definitely a mistake. I only wore my boots one time and almost fell down the stairs. There’s nothing wrong with the boots, but they were just too big on me and affected my coordination. If you’re worried about sizing up, I would say don’t! I think these run true to size. I ended up buying another pair in a size 9 and I still even have a little space in the boot. Just don’t size up.

I’ve spent years looking for a cute pair of cowgirl boots that didn’t look huge on my slim legs. These are perfect. They look great with shorts too! Comfortable with the right socks, otherwise they rubbed my boney ankle.

I was so excited to get these after reading the positive reviews, however- these will be returned. I was raised wearing western boots, mostly Justin or Tony Lama. No offense to all of the leather haters and PETA folk, but good leather boots or shoes fit well, conform to your feet, breathe,and become your best friend when you've worn them, I love the comfort of good leather shoes/boots. These have some sort of nasty spongy synthetic lining on the inside which will only cause your feet and legs to sweat, it would be hot, and retard the natural breathing of leather. (I am a synthetic, chemical hater) :) I do have narrow feet but not real narrow heels, I don't believe and in these boots, even with sock, my heel never touches leather, it just swims in air, causing the boot to slide. The real downer was the arch, the arches in these boots would be good if it hit where my arch is and not on the up slope of my heel. It's like the arch is and inch and a half too far back, not where arches should be. I simply think everyone's feet are different and so the lovers of these boots have the sort of foot that it fits perfectly, and the dislikes are from ones like myself where.. Nothing about this boot is right. So I am sending them back.

The perfect boot to wear with anything- dress up or down. The quality is top notch & you couldn’t get a better price. Durango is my brand for boots. I have a high arch & did add an insert but love these!

These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned (that says alot). I wear them to travel in because they look great and are so comfortable. I wear them with Maxi dresses, skirts, jeans... they look and feel awesome. I am very happy to have had added them to my closet as a staple timeless boot

Fits like a glove. Got my usual size 7.5. I usually live in my Skechers so when I say these boots are comfortable I’m not kidding. Bought these as a fashion statement to wear with skinny jeans and dresses but I think I will still be wearing them long after the trend is over (this is the only western thing I own). . . They’re a little darker than I expected but still nice and definitely distressed.

The fit is slightly large and the instep a little tight at first but overall great and they look good on.
