So after having this Hat for 6... 7 years...and always loving it! I Thought I get an other one. It was getting a little worn looking. Well...it looks like the same hat. But now its made in China. The first thing you would notice having both the Canadian made and the Chinese made is. The weight. So...I weight them. The Canadian made hat comes in at 160 grams. The Chinese made Hat weight 110 grams. Same hat... Same size. With them side by side...you tell they are Not the same Quality. Its still a nice Hat. But now... I do not think its worth $90 bucks. Maybe $50. I will not be buying another one made in China. If I want one of those I will go to Walmart. And Buy one for $20.

Picked up this hat to keep the sun off my face while having fun outdoors. I sunburn easy so I wanted something more than a baseball cap for coverage. The hat is comfortable, cool, durable and easy to wash. I like that it is sold in sizes vs one size fits all. I like having a hat that fits and sits comfortably on my hat!

World's best hats and GREAT customer service. I had inherited one from my late brother and wore it a LOT. Especially on Tallship vacations in the Caribbean. After may years, the sweat line finally failed. I believe it was my fault for insufficient cleaning. AS I was about to throw it out, I remembered the pamphlet inside with stories. As I reread them, I noticed the warrantee was forever! I contacted Tilley and for $7.95 shipping I got a brand new one. My head must have changed over the years as although the new one was the same size it was too tight. I called and they sent a replacement with NO shipping and a return tag for the smaller one. They were most focused on the customer not just being satisfied, but being HAPPY with their purchase. I guess Canadian Persnicketiness pays off!

Nice hat. Cover your ears it’s perfectly. I wish it had a clip so that you don’t lose it in high wind.

I know this is a crushable hat... What I don't like is that it's been "crushed" in delivery. Creases in the mesh won't come out!

I’ve had a Tilley Airflow hat for over 15 years and used continuously with no problems or even significant wear. I decided to get this new one which has a wider brim and more mesh for better airflow. It is great for days that are hot and sunny and I’m sure I will have many years of enjoyment.

Comes with hidden pouch, drawstring for windy conditions. The Canadian hat came with no problems at all from a US supplier, unlike the 4 times I tried to order from the factory in Canada themselves!

Excelente calidad de los materiales. Muy ligero y ventilado. Cometí el error de querer meter la agujeta en la bolsita oculta y el velcro jaló la misma. Mi talla debería ser 7, pero pedí 7 1/8 como leí en las recomendaciones y me quedó con espacio para meter un dedo y lo siento muy bien y cómodo. Además, con la agujeta que trae se puede acomodar para que me ajuste un poco y evita que mi cabeza entre mucho, permitiendo mucha más ventilación aún. El material de la corona es muy bien ventilado, pero además con filtro suficiente para las personas qoe en todo caso sean calvas, los protegería suficientemente bien sin permitir que el sol les queme. Lo pensé mucho por el precio; pero los materiales y lo bien hecho del sombrero me convencen y quedé totalmente satisfecho. Vino en una caja suficientemente amplia, que evitaron que éste se maltratara, vino perfecto, nada maltratado. El color claro me gusta mucho pues ayuda a reflejar los rayos y no se calienta. Me gusta el color oliva por debajo del ala del sombrero. Dicen que ayuda a que no te lastime el reflejo del sol. Lo he usado solo en la ciudad y estoy muy satisfecho. Por lo menos se siente mucho más ligero y no suda la parte de la corona que rodea mi frente como a veces lo hace mi Schnell que tengo. Update: 17 Agosto 2024. Lo he usado ya casi 3 meses; en el campo y bajo sol intenso; y no puedo estar más satisfecho; es un excelente sombrero, muy ventilado. Cuando hace muchísimo calor, con la agujeta controlo que mi cabeza no toque los bordes internos del mismo y me ayuda incluso a que se ventile mucho mejor, pues en una de esas, el sudor empapó toda la parte trasera del sombrero; de esta manera que les menciono definitivamente el sudor no toca el sombrero; lo he usado todo el día, y es muy ligero, pero sobre todo permite el libre flujo del aire; además es muy bonito, he recibido muchos cumplidos del mismo y me han preguntado dónde comprarlo. Estoy sumamente satisfecho; el precio valió cada centavo. ¡Lo volvería a comprar de ser necesario! Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I've waited a long time, but no more, and it is worth the wait. My made in China version is well finished, fits well, and holds its shape well, even after packing. Breathability without doubt and plenty of shade. Providing durability lived upto the brand name I'll be happy.

For a woman , because it is a Tilley hat and most important that it is white and rather stylish for this kind of manly hat .
