Folding Bracket

This is an expanding miter saw station. I purchased these folding shelf brackets to function as the support for the wings. I find this really strong and secure. A single wind will hold the weight of a ten foot hanging off the end while holding down the other with two fingers needs the base of the saw. Which isn’t that much weight, but it is an unusual situation in which these are put to the test. The don’t sag, which I was worried about and hold the 90 angle well enough. I do wish they would were thicker, at least I wanted them to feel thicker, but they’re holding up well. The material is painted steel. My needs have been met. They fit and fold perfectly when I need to put the station away. And when opened support the weight of my work pieces and timber. I would recommend these, I see hundreds of more uses for them. Could be compatible with a lot of scenarios!

I love these. I took the 24x36 doors from my old workbench and turned them into folding shelves for the side walls of my garage. I left the handles on the doors too make them easier to pull up. There's been quite a bit of weight placed on them and they were solid.

I wanted to create a folding workbench in my office and was successful with these brackets in tandem with an IKEA tabletop. Installation wasn't too challenging, just basic drywall anchors and making sure things are level. Be warned this only came with masonry anchors that don't work in drywall, so you'll have to provide your own anchors. Overall these seem durable and like they'll be able to do the job they were advertised to do.

These are the best foldable shelf brackets that I have found. The angle is only .5° off. I’ve used six of them and some of them are right on the money. The only reason I gave it a four was that the screws should be immediately thrown away. They’re very soft and they strip and they’re a pain to get out. After the first bracket, I threw them all away and use much harder screws. Other than that, this is really a great shelf bracket! I’ll be buying it again if I need more.

I used for a collapsible bar top and shelves and its amazing! They are light and durable but look great! They were also so easy to install!

These brackets work as described. My Blackstone has very limited prep space. And the space it does have gets really hot. And I used these brackets with a makeshift shelf I put tighter with some cuts off from another project. And so far so good. They say they can hold up to 175lbs. But not too sure about that. But time will tell. And I have them outside. So we will see how they hold up to the Phoenix summers. But for the price, can’t beat it with a stick.

Has to be the best folding hinge around! Well designed with heavy gauge steel. Locks in the open position rock solid. Release latches readily accessible. Perfect!

These brackets are great. I used them for a folding wall shelf and they look good and work well. My only complaint is the dry wall anchors. Just buy your own at the hardware store, they ones it comes with are the cheap garbage ones that are a pain to use.
