I was really impressed with this water-soluble paper—it completely lives up to its promises. The paper quality is excellent for what it’s designed to do. It’s thin enough to dissolve quickly in water, yet still sturdy enough to write or print on without tearing during use. The letter size (8.5” x 11”) is great—it gives you plenty of space for notes, drawings, or written effects, especially if you’re using it for magic, journaling, or crafts. It ran through my printer with no issues at all (I used light ink coverage), and handwriting on it with pen or pencil looks clean and legible. The ease of use is fantastic. My stepfather passed away recently and we decided to have a celebration of life for him. I saw a bunch of “write a message” cards online but I thought they would be awkward for most guests. We didn’t know any of his friends really and the family circle is small, so I wanted to give people a way of conveying a message, but keeping it more private… so let’s have guests write a message to my step father, instead of to us. I had a vision! As a kid, I remember having invisible ink and then started to think it would be cool if there was a paper that dissolved… a little search on Amazon and whapow! Water Soluble Paper! We cut all the sheets down into 4ths (4.25x5.5 inch) and left out some roses and string on a table along with some basic instructions, an example and a couple vases with water in them. Each person wrote something they wanted to say to my stepfather but never could.. either a secret or a personal message.. or a simple goodbye. Then they roll up the note, tie it to the base of them stem and place it in the vase. The notes dissolved within seconds and everyone thought it was a great idea. Whether you are religious and believe in the afterlife or if you believe someone is gone forever once they pass.. writing something down gives you some sort of outlet. The dissolved messages can be poured somewhere where they have meaning to the person who passed or their family (grave, yard, ocean, countryside).. or they can be used to water a tree in honor of the person. The paper is typically made from Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose which is wood pulp and cotton lint… so it’s actually very environmentally friendly, safe for animals and biodegradable.

I love that this product goes through my printer so that it is easy for me to make templates for my quilting projects. It is a good value for the cost and versatile in its uses.

These work really well! We used a Canon Pixma inkjet printer and then just lay the print over the cloth and sew away! Then spray with water or wash to dissolve the paper! Looks great.

Fun experiments! I was exploring the three different weights with this paper This weight is still very lightweight. It does not completely disappear, BUT DOES DISSOLVE to filmy! So cool. Maybe the two-point would disappear faster and more completely. I may explore 5 pt, as i want to test structure and printing. Also WANT a sponsored for my children's (crafty theme) book! ;) wink wink hint hint May use some for my son's wedding, as its at a no waste eco center, no paper or plastic throw aways allowed. So perfect!

If you are looking for this type of product I can highly recommend this one. The paper is easy to work with and dissolves quickly and thoroughly in water. I read the reviews of other products like this before buying. A common complaint was that the paper was not packaged with support and often arrived folded and creased. Not only was there a cardboard support with the paper, but also the pack was inside a typical cardboard mailing envelope. Wonderful attention to detail by SmartSolve.

I used these for a school Bible lesson. It worked beautifully for allowing the students to write their fears, worries, stresses, etc and release them at the foot of the cross.

I absolutely love his paper however it is not packaged well, manufacturer's fault and shipped horribly, Amazon's fault. So what score should I give? I have tested so many papers and this one works best for my needs. I just can't seem to get it here in an acceptable condition! More than half, yes more than half, I have to return the paper and reorder careful not to order at the same time it will go in a box with another item. When it is shipped in a box the other items in the box they bounce around and destroy the paper then I have to return it. If I order it by itself I have less than 50% chance it will arrive ok. Yes, just ok. It is packaged by the manufacturer in a plastic bag with no protection; no rigid mailer. Amazon likes to fold, yes fold, the paper packs in half and put it into a bag for shipping. It might get crush, destroyed, whatever but sometimes it arrives with a rounded fold in the middle. I'm not happy with that but its what I'm working with. Cant contact the manufacturer and the Amazon chat bot just sends me another replacement. I'm not going to order a pillow with my paper so it can arrive safely in a box. This needs to be looked into. BUT the paper itself is great!

Can’t get it to print properly without the paper coming out creased and wavy from my laser printer. No print settings provided and no support response from the manufacturer (direct). Dissolves well but useless if I can’t get a flat piece out of it. Waste of very expensive material.
