Hair Rollers - Orange - 12 Pack

These rollers are so much better than the Velcro rollers that I have been using for 28 years. These rollers are smooth and do not make my hair frizzy like the Velcro rollers do. But more importantly, these smooth rollers do not break or damage my hair as the Velcro rollers have caused so much damage to my hair. I use them on both wet hair and on second day dry hair with a little leave in conditioner spray. These rollers are very easy to use. I use duck hair clips to secure each roller. My hair comes out with big bouncy curls and so much volume. I have long layered hair down to the middle of my back and 1 package of 12 rollers is perfect and just enough for my entire hair. I am very happy I ordered these rollers, no more breakage in my hair.

I like these rollers because they don't grip my hair and pull my hair out. They are a good size and I use them to create volume, adding a little hair spray to give them some stay power. You could also use moose before you put the rollers on. My hair has nice volume after I leave them in for about 20 minutes.

I ordered these because my Velcro rollers were pulling out pieces of my hair. These do not grip as well as the Velcro did, but to not have my hair come out with the roller, it is good. Four stars because they don’t grip as well as Velcro. But they do look better if you have to walk around the house with them in your hair. And they slide out much better than Velcro.

THESE ARE THE SAME ROLLERS THAT HAVE BEEN USED IN SALONS FOREVER. I STARTED BEAUTY SCHOOL IN 1976 AND, WE ALL GOT THE 144 PC. SET OF DIANE MAGNETIC ROLLERS. I HUNG UP MY STYLIST APRON 5 YEARS AGO, AND THESE WERE STILL THE GO TO ROLLERS. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY THAT I KNOW THESE ROLLERS WELL. THE "MAGNETIC" BEING USED IN THE TITLE OF THESE IS BEING USED BECAUSE THAT IN THE NAME OF THEM, NOT BECAUSE THAT IS THE SELLER'S CLAIM. THEY WERE CALLED DIANE MAGNETIC ROLLERS IN 1976, AS WELL. NOW, ARE THEY MAGNETIC? NO, THEY ARE PLASTIC. HOWEVER, THIS TYPE OF ROLLER HAS BEEN SOLD AND USED FOR MILLENNIA. WHY? BECAUSE, THEY DON'T HAVE ISSUES THAT OTHERS DO. (I.E. THE DENTS AN INCH FROM THE SCALP THAT THE FOAM ONES LEAVE BEHIND.) THESE ARE VERY GOOD FOR PEOPLE THAT HAS HAIR THAT WILL NOT HOLD CURL WITH A CURLING IRON OR HOT ROLLERS. These were just OK. The 2” size was nice, however they had a hard time staying in place. They just didn’t hold well. Even with hair pins. I didn’t notice any sort of magnetic effect. After using, there wasn’t any difference in volume. I think the old fashioned Velcro rollers probably work better.

Nothing special, should come with more for price. Just name brand.

I had hoped to find these rollers the answer to my difficulties with fine hair. This was because rollers with velcro were pulling out hair, thinning as a result of a form of alopaecia. I tried sponge rollers - they left clip kinks; these 'magnetic' ones seemed the nearest to the old , all-metal rollers of my youth! Sadly, they failed to be 'magnetised' by either wet or damp hair, despite trying 5 different types of clip! So disappointed!

So easy, light as a feather. ( thought they were metal and heavy ) perfect. Doesnt rip hair out like the velcro
