New life for old printer.
Old printer having issue leaving darker gray toner over white areas of prints. Tried changing settings, software. Ran some old unused laser cleaner paper several times. Helped a little. Thought we’d try a new cartridge and found this drum and cartridge combo set. Easy to install and new life for the office printer. Which is great, since it is also the scanner with sheet feeder to the computer for us. Glad we didn’t have to get rid of it and took the chance on this product, since the investment was reasonable in case it didn’t help and we needed new printer. Bought color Lexmark a few years ago and the cartridges have gotten so ridiculously high and we only need a small amount of color toner, so the brother is the go to for most of our office printing. Highly recommend.

I purchased this set a week ago after our original equipment started failing after over a decade of use. These fit perfectly (drum and toner) for my brother hl- 2140 maybe even slightly looser. The first time I installed them printer fired up with no problems and printed maybe 20 pages flawlessly. It did run into a hiccup but that was remediated by pulling the drum and toner out, sliding the wire slide a few times and reinstalling. I had to do this a total of two times back to back as after the first time it threw a problem light. After the second time it was fine and has been printing great over the week. I think it’s a great value for the money considering how much oem equipment cost. It feels just as good as oem as far as weight and how the product generally feels in your hands. It doesn’t feel cheap or chinsy. It prints clean. Color is as black as it could be throughout the whole page.

EZink replacement drum works fine, replacement toners definitely do not work on my HL-2170W
Purchased replacement DR360 and two TN360 replacement toner cartridges as a 3 piece set. Replacement drum works fine. Both replacement toner cartridges are defective. Both make loud clicking/popping noise when operating and do not print properly. My old TN360 cartridge does work great with the new Drum so definitely problem with TN360 cartridges. Printer is Brother HL-2170W.
