Solar System. Minimalistic Chunky Antique African Brass and Coral Necklace. Red, Orange, Brown. This is my minimalistic design with some really large beads. My son took a look at it and asked: is this the solar system? Which one is the Earth? So here we go: the Sun is represented by this huge and heavy antique African bead made of solid brass or bronze, oxidized by time. It slides over the chain between the two closest planets. The planets are: two large bright orange round polished sponge coral beads, two large red round unpolished sponge coral beads, two round druzy orange agate beads and two round carnelian beads. The snake chain is oxidized brass. The necklace is 28 inches (71 cm) long.
