Miracle fix!
Used this product to fix a broken wooden sculpture that I could never fix with wood glue or cement, despite trying many times. When I discovered this it was like a miracle fix! It was easy to use, clean, and incredibly effective.

Great Epoxy
I have worked with epoxy before and this was awesome. Easy to cut, mix and spread. I used it to make a piece of carved wood for a chair I was repairing. Made a mold out of hot glue, packed the epoxy in and put it in place. Used rubbing alcohol to feather the edges. Hot chemical reaction! Made the mold a little sticky to remove but the epoxy had cured and stayed in place. Sanded well, painted to match and then put a varathane coating on it. Hard to see the repair in the end. Great product.

Sets up quickly, dries hard
This was good for my project which was repairing some small carved details on an antique settee. The product sets up fairly quickly so I only recommend mixing a small amount at a time.

Lifesaver!
Bought two antique French chairs from the 18th century at a fantastic price only to get home and find that one had damage on the top carving on the back of the chair. The broken piece was badly glued and unstable because there was wood missing. Took the chairs to my upholsterer who was supposed to send the broken one to the shop. Instead he hot glued (!) the piece which came off a day later. Now I couldn't send the chair out for repair because I just spent a small fortune to have them recovered and didn't want to risk getting the new fabric soiled. I researched extensively and found this product which came recommended by craftsmen doing wood repair ; after some practice I attempted to repair the damage. In the demonstration the light wood color was used and there seemed to be plenty of time to fiddle with it before it set up. This is not the case with the dark color. There is a maximum of about two minutes before it sets up, so I used a very small amount at a time adding to the repair. It adheres well to itself so that was not a problem. I found that using tight fitting vinyl gloves and keeping fingers wet during shaping helped a lot. The mixture tended to be quite sticky and nowhere could I find anything that addressed thinning the product. The color is near perfect and now that it is dry it is nearly impossible to find the repair. After a little waxing it looks amazing and is at least as stable as the other chair, if not more. I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Color of dark walnut
Color is that of dark walnut and easy to apply and smooth out. A little pricier than i liked but it works very well and color is throughout so there’s that.
