This product was actually used to get rid of birds that land on my backyard TiKKI. They would come at the end of the day and go to the top wooden pole and poop all over the my bar. I actually put the Roxant strobe light on a timer hooked up to my Alexa through a smart switch and programmed the unit to go on from 6:00 PM. to 6:00 AM. So what it does is flashes all night as I put it on the lowest setting and it actually repels the birds as it does not allow them to sleep at night as birds do not like lights at night therefore the flashing light repels them. I have not had any issues since then with birds pooping on my Bar no more pressure cleaning before guests come. The size of the unit is the reason why I purchased the strobe light as it's small and compact where it hides well in the corner of the Tikki and looks great. Not only that but packs a powerful punch for the size of the unit it lights up very well and being able to regulate it at the speeds you want is great. The price of the unit was another deciding factor and the reason why I purchased the strobe light as compared to other products it's 25-50% less expensive. Came packaged very well and the unit is so light that it's virtually impossible for it to get damaged in transit unless the carrier really damages it. So far the value and price was amazing for the unit and got my issue resolved. No problem so far with this product I highly recommend this product.

I found this on Amazon as I was researching strobe lights for my Halloween display. I have a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, and recently added a Wreath that comes alive in the movie. I wanted a strobe light to enhance its appearance and create the illusion that it was moving. I like the idea of the product being LED-based so there is no bulb to burn out and power consumption is minimal. The price seemed reasonable so I placed an order. The unit arrived in two days (Prime member) and is as expected and described on Amazon. Small, light-weight, plastic housing. I mounted the unit on a wooden stake in the front yard using zip-ties. The unit is light weight enough that the unit is very secure. With the pivoting bracket I was able to aim the strobe beam directly where I wanted it, adjusted the knob on the back for the best flash rate, and achieved the exact result I had hoped for. Since the unit is not rated for outdoors, I did put a Ziploc bag over it to shield it from dew and rain. With the cool running LEDs I have no concerns about overheating in the bag or the bag melting. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality, functionality and value of the unit for my application.

It was an unexpected discovery, but one you couldn’t deny once you opened the door. There was major construction going on overhead. Since we had not hired any contractors to do work, that meant one thing…Squirrels in the attic! These were no ordinary squirrels building an ordinary nest. No, these were sneaky, intelligent squirrels, engineers and architects, building a condominium complex for the extended family. They chewed through a soffit hidden by the chimney and camouflaged by trees over a spare bedroom at the back of the house. It was the perfect location to go undetected for weeks. I had no idea how long they had been there, and I had no idea how to get rid do of them. I had no desire to kill the little beasts, nor did I want to destroy my house or make the living conditions unbearable during the eradication process. So, I quickly ruled out fire, gas, poison, mothballs and urine from other wild animals. We could trap them, but that seemed to be a rather long and involved process. We wanted quick and easy. Thinking the sound of human voices might scare them off, we put a radio in the attic tuned to talk shows and news. The little critters just laughed at us, changed the channel and threw a block party. Then, we purchased this inexpensive noise machine that was supposed to emit a sound that would be so irritating to the squirrels, that they would evacuate the premises. The sound was irritating, alright. Irritating to humans. It sounded like a million crickets were in the attic, and it didn’t faze the squirrels at all. Item returned. Our continued research led us to a company that used high powered 360 degree strobe lights to evict squirrels. It all sounded very promising, but the cost per unit was very expensive. Considering our floor plan and the fact that the upstairs HVAC is in the middle of the attic with all the duct work spidering out from the core, we thought it would take a minimum of two units for full coverage. That definitely made this option too expensive to try just for kicks. As the block party upstairs continued, my husband shouted over the din, “I bet we could build our own strobe light solution for less.” Before he even finished the sentence, I was on the internet looking at options. This is how I came across Roxant. After considering several of Roxant’s strobe lights and others, we chose the Roxant Mini LED Strobe Light because of the cost, size and reviews. I ordered four from Amazon on March 23rd. Although the Roxant Mini Strobe Lights were “In Stock”, the earliest delivery Amazon would guarantee was April 21st, because of the Coronavirus pandemic. I knew this was a worst-case scenario. So, I crossed my fingers and hoped for an early delivery. Meanwhile, some of the party guests must have liked the joint and decided to relocate. The site they chose for their new palace was right over the master bath. As soon as construction began, I knew four strobe lights would not be enough. So, I ordered two more Roxant Mini Strobe Lights on March 29th, with a guaranteed delivery still four weeks out. Bummer! I thought I could handle it, but I couldn’t. The master bath was just too close. I could hear everything. With every little push and pull, drag and drop, scratch and hop, I could visualize the destruction these rodents were causing. My imagination was on overload, and it was driving me crazy. On March 31st, I calmly dressed as I listened to the drone of the bulldozing squirrels in my attic. Then, I went downstairs, grabbed my purse and said, “Honey, I can’t wait three or four weeks. I’m going to buy a semi-automatic CO2 powered pistol that shoots Airsoft plastic pellets. I’m not aiming to off the little varmints, just scare them. If, by chance, I happen to hit one, it’s going to hurt, maybe even maim the beast, but it should not kill it. Hopefully, it will scare them enough to pack-up and leave. Are you with me?” (He was in the car before I even got to the front door.) We made our purchase and returned home a couple of hours later. And, guess what? There was an Amazon package on the front porch. It couldn’t be, could it? Yes, it could! Inside the box were six Roxant Mini LED Strobe Lights, all in perfect working order. Roxant and Amazon had done it: all six lights within eight days of the original order and two days of the second order. Awesome! It took less than an hour to strategically place and mount the strobe lights. We mounted them directly to rafters pointing at a desired location to ensure maximum coverage. The size and the mounting bracket made the installation super easy. Then, we plugged them in, turned them on and, voilà, we were done. The following morning, I heard a of couple scurries and, then, nothing. It’s been 15 days, and nothing. Just fabulous silence. The varmints are gone! Hallelujah! Since the Roxant Mini Strobe Lights are LEDs, they don’t get hot and they use very little electricity. Therefore, we plan to run them 24x7x365 to ensure our unwanted guests do not return and that no other unwanted guests move in. I have a reminder set on my calendar to periodically check each unit to ensure it is operating as designed. That’s it, problem solved. I know this is a long story just to say that I am extremely satisfied with the Roxant Mini LED Strobe Light. I also wanted to illustrate that we had a serious squirrel problem. Although some may think that six strobe lights 24x7 is overkill, all I can say is that it worked. The squirrels are gone, and the total cost for all six lights was less than a single unit from that other company. I’m happy, and the squirrels should be happy because my pistol is still in the package unopened.

We live in the country and have a lot of wildlife around that we enjoy. Our problem is that some has decided that they want to live under our home. We have skunks, opossums and feral cats all living under here.. They do not appear to get along and are fighting and making all kinds of noise and the skunks wind up spraying And the odor is horrible in the house. Plus the noise they make keeps our dog running from room to room barking at the floor. We have just received two of these strobes and they seem like they are well made and very bright. Have plugged them in to test them and they work great.. Have left them on and wrapped in plastic to make sure they would not get hot and start fire, however they stayed cool and did not generate any heat. Cannot wait to install them to try to make life uncomfortable for the critters.. I will order more to place around the outside of house to prevent more from moving in. I wish these were water proof so that they could be placed outside but you can wrap them in plastic and put them outside anyway so them not being waterproof is not a big deal.. I can see where these would be good for other things beside scaring off critters like parties and halloween etc. The price was very good and cannot wait to get more. Thought I would give a update on this strobe light. I have tried everything that we could think of to get rid of the critters that had taken over under our house and nothing had worked, even tried a device that hooked up to the water hose and would soray when a critter would come close.. I should have left a bar of soap out with a stack of towels because the critters seemsd to enjoy taking a shower there.. we even installed 3,600 watts of lights around the house thinking they would not come around with the place lit up like a airport, seems that just made it eaiser for them to find our house..Anyway finaly decided to give the strobe lights a try even tho I really did not expect much from them. After the first night with the strobe lights ( 2 of them) mounted on a board and placed under the carport flashing on the house where they were going in and out we have not heard or seen any critters since and our dog is no longer running from room to room barking at the floor.. These things are wonderful small light weight and very bright.. And the compsny is fantastic. To deal with, had contacted me to make sure I was happy with the lights, they seem to be very intrested in happy customers.. I have ordered a couple more that I plan to put under our motor home to prevent critters from getting under there and chewing wires etc.. i also bought a photo electric unit that turns the lights on at dusk and off at dawn..

This is a very cheap strobe light. For starters, it's maximum strobe rate is still pretty slow, so it doesn't really get the strobe effect very well. Additionally, I don't think LEDs are the right bulb for a strobe. They don't go "black" very quickly, so this really doesn't work for the "stop motion" effect one normally gets from a strobe. It's really just a blinking light. And, as other reviewers have mentioned, the power cord is only 2 feet long, and does NOT want to stay in the outlet. I would not recommend. Added: The seller contacted me regarding this review. They offered me a full refund and keep the light if I would take the review down. In short, they offered pretty good customer service, so Kudos to them. However, I stand by my review of the light itself. If you're looking for a "stop action" strobe, go Xenon. If you're not mounting this right next to a plug, it's not the right light for you. No power switch. Needs and extension cord, and even then, you'll have to bend the prongs or tape it together. Increasing rating to 3 stars because the seller tried to make me happy, but I want readers to know what they're getting. May be great for some visual effects, Halloween, etc.

We really like this one a lot. We purchased it as a rodent deterrent for animals that were attracted to the patio/grill area, and it appears to be working already. What drew us to this light was the variable strobe feature, which allows for slow flashes. Many of the other lights available on Amazon were one speed only. The only other strobe to compare with this one was with fewer LEDs, and at a lower cost, lower by roughly 25%. It was also a variable strobe, but this Roxant strobe had a higher rating and produces more light output, so we are glad that we purchased this one. The packaging was excellent, it arrive very quickly, and the size of the unit was ideal. I think that the pricing is fair and reasonable considering that the rating is high and there are no other strobes directly comparable at the same price point. I would like to add that one additional purpose of this strobe for country dwellers, aside from deterring mice from setting up nests, is to discourage birds from roosting under covered patios and porches at night. This roosting is something that happens a lot in our area, and they create quite a mess, so the strobe works very well to make them much less likely to settle down in these areas. We have also used it under the hood of the truck to keep out pests. In any event, all in all, this is a very good product, and the company has excellent customer service!!

Okay, I don't recall that I have ever given a review on a product other than a 'star' rating. The squirrel in my garage attic was beginning to push me over the edge (think of Bill Murray in Groundhog day) ! It's noise was my creepy greeting every morning when I left for work and my creepy 'welcome home' each night ! I purchased rodent/squirrel repellent, ammonia, bleach that I stuck repeatedly through the entry hole. They did not work. I tried other 'unpopular' methods.They did not work. I did not want to pay the hefty fee for a pest control person, with no guarantees it would not happen again. Searched the internet and found that strobes were recommended by many. So, went to Amazon, saw it was 'choice', read reviews ( which sounded effective and safe), ordered, and crossed my fingers. It arrived quickly. Small, lightweight. It was about the same price as the price of all the other products combined that failed.The human access to the attic is through ceiling 'panel'. I don't risk going on ladders due to back surgeries, and it creeps me out to think the critter may attack me since it was still scampering and scratching, even when over previous weeks I would lift and bang the panel, repeatedly, at different times, morning and night. It didn't seem to care to leave, except when it wanted to. So, I had two 8 foot wooden furring strips that I screwed together to make one 14 foot 'pole'. Screwed the strobe on one end, secured the strobe cord and extension cord to the 'pole' with duct tape, plugged it in, dialed up the speed that I thought I would hate if I were a squirrel, opened the 'panel', inserted the 'pole', and rested my end of the pole on the floor. Because the strobe is so lightweight, the pole did not turn or drift. I did this after sundown so I could be sure the light was high enough and feel that the entire attic was receiving the strobed light. BTW, the entry hole for the squirrel is at the opposite side of the two-car garage from where my ceiling 'panel' is. So, it's been 5 days since I 'Installed' the mini strobe. I don't think this review is premature. I have not heard a scratch or scamper or anything! I truly think it has worked. I truly think I can now get the entry hole plugged tomorrow...my painter is coming with a ladder since it is on a slope and about 18 feet up. And the length of this review is a reflection of the amount of annoyance and frustration that squirrel provoked. Thank you Roxant mini strobe and consider this 5 star. Hope others have my apparent successful outcome.

My family and I were hearing unpleasant scratching sounds coming from the ceiling and discovered there were squirrels in our attic! We placed the Mini Strobe Light in the attic one day ago and we have not heard any scratching sounds since. I also went to check the attic to double check if there were any unwelcome guests but we found no signs of squirrels! The light worked perfectly and scared them away. The light itself is compact and easy to move around. The price is fair and the light comes in a well-packaged and secure box. This is a very good product and worth every penny! Thank you Roxant!

I’m using it as an animal repellent. Will also use for Halloween. It’s very nice and lightweight, but still seems powerful enough. Much cheaper than in store options.
