Perfect fit for my setup and easy to setup. I used these screws to connect my monopod to my gimbal, and they worked flawlessly. My monopod is lightweight, so now it not only helps me stabilize the gimbal but can also casually stand on its own when I need to give my hands a break. Solid quality and very inexpensive.

I use this adapter set mainly for my tripod to either mount my Ham Radio antenna, which accepts the 1/4-inch screw or my camera in case I have a Ham radio antenna bottom-plate. It helps me save weight by carrying only one instead of two tripods. By putting it in a small bag, it can go with other baubles and trinkets in my camera/radio bags. Having 2 units per adapter, you can place one permanently on the tripod, camera, or the antenna, while using the other as a spare. The fit and finish are decent. The units seem to be sturdy. The threads do not seem to have any rough points and are smooth to operate. The tightness at the end is decent, that you do not need extra force to either tighten or loosen them. There are other items for sale which offer more units, so I removed a point off the value, more like half a point, because I really did not need too many hanging around. This adapter set makes a good addition to your hobbies, when you really need them to be more creative and versatile.

These adapters are a great accessory to have if you use different types of gadgets. Often times the screw mounts may not be the correct size for a certain setup. They’re a solid metal and function great at converting 1/4” in female or male mount. Doesn’t feel super cheap or lightweight and screw threads are machined properly for smooth screw in.

Exactly what I need to utilize my my Smallrig hardware with the Monopod I use..

After trying unsuccessfully for about three minutes to us the 1/4 to 3/8 adapter, I finally got it started. I had to really crank it. Then I really had to work to get it off. When I was done, a small, spiraling piece of black metal fell out. Since I had used this tripod many times before in various situations, I knew it wasn't the tripod. The adapter just wasn't quite machined correctly. Seems to work fine now though.
