AngleCube Digital Level + Bevel Gauge 2 in 1

I purchased the iGaging Digital 3 in 1 tool based on the reviews here, and I couldn't be much happier. I use mine on a home made wheel alignment device...works like a charm. The magnet is strong enough that I didn't have to build a holding bracket on my alignment tool. I do have to say, however, the sides of the iGaging tool are machined so smooth that it will not hold firm to equally smooth metal surfaces...it slides. I have also used it on top of a standard level...much easier than reading the bubble. I tried buying one of these on eBay first, but couldn't beat the price here at Amazon...this is a recurring theme lately. I highly recommend this tool to anyone needing to measure level or vertical angles...it is versatile, well built, and very accurate.

Such an awesome tool. Works for so many things, I use it to stick to my cars rotor to dial in a camber adjustment. Probably not 100% perfect but good enough for some garage alignments.

I purchased this angle gauge back in 2011, and for 14 years it's been one of the key tools in my shop for all setups. It is incredibly accurate, and the triple-magnetic surface makes it very easy to stick to the side of a blade, a fence, or just about any other shop tool you need to set to an exact angle. I originally purchased it for accurately setting bevels on my knives, but it expanded out into so many more places than that, and has been an absolute staple of my setups since then. Unfortunately, just about a half hour ago, I finally discovered the limitation of the tool. I fumbled it from about three feet high (workbench top) and it fell onto the cement floor of the shop. The blow was too much for it, sadly, and the screen shattered. The screen still partially displays, but all it will show is the "err" message from excessive tilt now. So overall, after over a decade of use, I'm going to give this one 4 stars out of 5. PERFECT marks for accuracy, ease of use, and convenience, -1 star for finally dying to a blow that even an inexpensive phone would now shrug off without issue. I've already ordered two more of these at various points to have around the shop, and I'll probably end up ordering another to replace this one, structural weakness aside. This is a great tool!

This is my go to tool for setting up my table saw blade and jointer fence. I have used other magnetic angle finding devices but none of them work nearly as well. When the battery failed on this device and I had to toss it, I bought another cheaper one. Used it once then tossed it and bought the iGaging cube. Easy to use and very accurate. I highly recomend it!

I've not used it extensively -- only had it a couple of weeks, but the product arrived promptly and it's well-built (metal case) with good craftsmanship and is about as compact as it could be. The screws requiring removal to insert or replace the battery are tiny, but the supplied screwdriver works fine (if I don't lose it). The storage pouch has a belt loop and adequately stores the device, but the instructions and screwdriver are left to be lost on their own. In a perfect world, I'd like it to be easier to remove/replace the battery because I like to take batteries out of my tools so they don't mess things up if/when they leak. It is simple to use and seems to be incredibly accurate. I'd certainly buy another one if I didn't have it!

Side note: This also works great if you're having a hard time getting a good read on the bubble level on the http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YDMGT4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_18 I'm short so if I'm not holding it where I can see it easily I just set this on top to get a nice level line. This is the exact same brand offered on some websites for use with the Edge Pro knife sharpener. I do not use this with the "stop collar" available on other sites. Instead I do the following: 1. Mount the stone, and let rest the stone at the edge of the sharpening table. 2. Place the cube on the table and zero it (Level button) 3. Carefully balance the angle cube on the blade stop right in front of the handle (You don't have to be THAT careful, it's nearly as big as the cube itself) 4. Adjust sharpening angle until you reach desired angle. 5. Do this with every change of stone. Yes, you will be a fraction of a degree off depending on how far you keep the blade off the sharpening table, but you will be that SAME fraction-of-a-degree off with every stone. So if you want to do the math you can sharpen at (pulling this number out of my @$$) 15.85 degrees to get the 16 degrees on the blade you desire, but I care for total precision, not total accuracy.

Works great for finding caster and camber on the race car

I've only got to use it a few times but so far I'm happy with it. It's got some weight to it. I bought it for my tablesaw / woodworking stuff in my garage and I think I'll be getting another one for work as I'm a welder/fabricator.
