Works well, keeps guns shooting
Hoppe's gun solvent has a built-in spray nozzle. You won't have to hunt around for the one that is supposed to be attached but rolled off the workbench because the can got lubed up the last time you cleaned your Browning. We all know after shooting, sometimes we want to clean the guns and get 'em back in the safe to grab dinner and a beer. Cleaning the weapons should not have to start off with a hunt for the nozzle. That said, the solvent is thick and sets fine. Spray some where you need it and let it sit a spell. After a few, you will be happy with the amount of grime that comes out and off, especially if you shot dirty lead. In just a short bit, your guns will be ready for the next go round. I like a lot of different brands but I sure do like the Hoppe's on this one.

Works wonders
I had copper markings on my slide from the little copper buttons from my jeans. These marks were driving me crazy, it would not come off. Mind you, it was not scratches but copper markings. I tried removing it with brake cleaner, mineral spirits, and polishing compound. All failed. Then upon a google search, Hoppes number 9 was mentioned to remove copper markings. I was a little skeptical at first but brought it to give it a shot. I sprayed it on my slide where the copper markings were, let it sit for half and hour. Came back and wiped the area and I could not believe my eyes, the copper markings were gone. Whatever is in this stuff, it really works wonders.

Well, it works, mostly....
OK, so you decided not to bore snake or twist together some lame aluminum plunger with cotton wadding at the end. Fine - I did too. When you discharge the product from the breech end to the muzzle, it doesn't take a lost of time (1.x sec-ish) to drive the foam out of the end of the unit. That's nice. It foams up to fill the entire barrel. Again nice. Is it 'scrubbing bubble like'? Maybe. Did I see some blue-ish during the wipe down? Yes. Was the barrel CLEAN? Mostly. Again, maybe I am doing it wrong. sure, I have a whole can of it, and I'll use it as a FIRST PASS for cleaning. Then I'll drop the bore snake through it. I Know that when snaked, it is clean. Not a spec or particle remains. With the foam only approach, you still need to bore wipe the inside, hence the need for a snake or a wadded plunger. Plungers suck, in general, unless you're trying to resurrect something. But if this is for regular cleaning after a session, I'll use the foam until it runs out, but I will never pass on use of a bore snake. YMMV.

Hoppes is the best
This product just continues the great line of Hoppe's products. No. 9 is a must have in any owners arsenal and this just makes the process that much easier. Same cleaning power I'm used to in an easier to use system.

So far seems like good stuff
My second purchase, the old stuff worked well, I assume this is the same

It cleans as it should
The most important part is it does lift the dirt after the second spray. Let it sit and then start your cleaning
