Waste of money, false advertising
False advertising! I bought this to suspend a cooking grill from a tripod while winter camping. The cord burnt and caught fire after holding a regular bic an inch away. Waste of money!

Unexpectedly good
I knew that kevlar is strong but this was just perfect for my application which required I soft, string wire that can bend.

Used it to repair a broken buckle!
The piece of metal in a leather strap (in the middle) broke so thought I'd try using the 50lb kevlar cord to hold it in place so I could buckle it. It is a pricey leather blanket carrier. It was a success. I didn't make it quite tight enough so I may have to redo it, but for now I can use the blanket carrier! I'm more than delighted with it. Just saved me about $70 replacing the carrier. I was surprised how tiny the spool was - about 2" diameter, but that just makes it handy to toss into a pocket easily.
