I wore this on a trip to Sugar Mountain for skiing and it seriously made such a difference. It kept me very warm the entire time and protected my face and neck from the wind and cold. The material is soft and comfortable, not itchy or stiff, and it fit really well without feeling too tight. I was able to wear it under my helmet easily and it stayed in place while skiing. I never felt like I had to constantly adjust it, which was a big plus. It did a great job blocking the wind and keeping heat in, and I stayed comfortable even when it was really cold out. Fits over ski helmet! Fluffy, Warm & Cozy. My whole family has these. We have worn these for Skiing in Michigan. They are warm and cozy up against your skin. They are NOT waterproof and do get wet with snow. In absolute freezing conditions (-24°) while snowing and skiing, they will get wet and freeze in place. But most of the time we don't experience that amount of below zero temperatures. The drawstrings help with around the face adjustments. Helps with cutting wind from getting into the ski helmet IF you wear it over the helment. If wearing this way is sub zero conditions on the slopes i woukd recommend a turtle neck base layer. The balaclava still covers your neck just not as far as without a ski helmet. They have served us well for the last 2 seasons! I have pink, the boys have black.

Fuzzy and soft. Pretty color. Beanie does NOT come with it. The material is somewhat thin so you definitely need to wear a uad underneath or I put the hood of my jacket up. But after doing that definitely feels cozy in the cold walks to school and keeps my face and neck very warm.

Bought this for that cold weather snap we had earlier this month. I could barely stand to be outside but I have a dog to talk. This is very soft and comfortable, it looks pretty, and it kept me very warm! Very pleased with this purchase.

This balaclava arrived opened but appeared unused, so I figured I'd give it a chance. She's cute, she's warm, and she 100% does NOT fit over a helmet. If you are a child (or have a child-sized head) then perhaps this will work better for you, but for me (someone with an appropriately-sized noggin) fitting this over your helmet will result in being almost suffocated. Literally. If youre someone who just wants the warmth, it does actually fit nicely under a skii helmet, albeit it does look a little odd. Or as shown in the picture, it does fit fine over most beanies, but lets be honest, a healthy 90% of us buying this probably did so for the over-helmet aestetic and warmth. Points for style and heat, minus points for helmet (or lack thereof) functionality.

So soft and it works great! You can wear it loose or tighten it when needed. My husband asked me to order one for him too since he has seen how nice this one is. Keeps me warm without wearing an additional hat.
