Furnace Works Again
I was able to replace this myself with zero past experience and some help from YouTube. I had no issues replacing it and my furnace is working again. No special tools needed. I shudder to think how much an HVAC company would have charged me. Thank you!

Replaced my OEM SP715A - Robertshaw Furnace Control Board
This Honeywell replaced and upgraded a faulty SP715A - Robertshaw Furnace Control Board in a RDGA Rheem Furnace. Here’s the symptom: The ignitor works. The pilot tube lights. Once it's light for about 3 seconds, the pilot flame turns off. After three tries I will turn the thermostat off and back on and usually the same thing happens, although sometimes it will stay lit and light the main burners. So the fix to this issue was the Honeywell control unit. Everything now works as it should!

Read the instructions at least six times
This is a Universal control, therefore the instructions need to cover allot of applications. I initially relied on the wiring diagram used with from the control I was replacing...my mistake. Not all wiring terminals are the same from manufacturer to manufacturer. But after reading, reading, reading, reading the instructions even though they did not set right with my experience as an electrician....walla it worked. I used this universal controller to replace a forty year old Honey Well pool heater control.
