Leaves my hair soft and pairs well with most conditioners
I've been meaning to write a review for this for nearly 2 years since I first started buying this shampoo bar. I'm a guy with long hair and a scalp that sometimes acts like it’s shedding its winter coat year-round. This little bar solves that way better than head & shoulders. I’ve been using it a couple times a week, and it’s pretty much become the unsung hero of my shower routine. It works well with all the conditioners that I pair it with, including the fancy one my gf buys. It's a compact bar that lathers up nicely, lasts me just as long as a big bottle of shampoo, and leaves my hair feeling like actual hair. It sits on the shower shelf next to my other stuff without starting a turf war with my gf's collection of bottles. There's no crazy scent to it either. If you’re after a shampoo bar that just does the job keeps your scalp flake-free, your hair clean, and doesn’t turn you into a walking air freshener give it a try.

The Best!
Solid Shampoo is the WAY TO GO! I am completely enamoured of the Kit'sch shampoo and conditioner bars. I had no idea what to expect and ordered these during Prime Days. I have a long European trip planned and wanted to check out how the solid bars worked to avoid the liquid restrictions on airlines or risking unknown shampoo while traveling. The Tea Tree and Mint has been working so well as a first shampoo to clarify my hair. I don't use much, if any, product but just living life collects 'stuff' in your hair. So I wanted to clean out the bad but also do so without damaging my already dry and brittle greying hair. I've then followed up with a second shampoo using the Rosemary and Biotin bar to encourage hair growth and strengthen my hair. Lastly, I use the Rosemary and Biotin conditioner bar. I have to say, my hair has not felt this clean after shampooing in forever, and my hair is soft and full when it dries. My hair is so clean that it literally squeaks in the shower, yet it's not feeling dry or brittle. The bars seem to be holding up well with use and should last a long time. Others have commented that the bars crumble, and I've had a small amount of that happen, but so far not much, and I just smashed it back onto the bar like I do when regular soap starts to fall apart. I do make a point of letting it dry out and not sit in water, which stops the soft bars from literally melting in water. Overall, these bars appear to be great value and give a better clean than I've had from a shampoo in years.

Ok, this actually works
This shampoo bar works great and lathers up extremely well. I have no clue why some reviewers are having issues getting lather, maybe they're not getting their hair wet enough. I simply put my head back in the water and then immediately after pulling my head out of the water rub the bar on my head and hair just like I would rub soap on my skin. I've had dandruff all my life and for the first time ever I do not have to worry about dandruff getting on my dark shirts. Head and shoulders worked partially for me in that it reduced my dandruff, but it never eliminated it completely like this shampoo does. And it's very clean in the sense of using natural ingredients plus it's not in plastic so no extra microplastics or PFAs either. My hair looks and smells great after washing. Total win!

Hair Feels Light and Clean but breaks into a million pieces eventually
I have used a few brands now of shampoo/conditioner bars and this is one is decent. Pros: I really like the cleansing properties of this shampoo - my hair actually feels clean when I am done washing and I do not notice it feeling heavy or any buildup on the scalp. It has a really good scent and has lasted me several weeks already, and none of that plastic waste from a bottle. It does not later in the way that a shampoo would that has a lot of those chemicals - but that does not bother me and I would prefer to have something non toxic. My hair is always really soft after washing. For reference I have thick, medium coarse hair and only wash 2-3x a week. Cons: Because of the S shape, it eventually breaks off into a million little pieces which stick all over the bathtub. And these end up getting wasted as it is impossible to use a tiny piece since it does not lather well. I have used other brands that come in a more circular shape, and these don't break into so many pieces and end up lasting longer. I don't love that it does not lather, but I have found this just to be the reality of not using all of those harsh chemicals.
