When my neck was hurting and I decided I needed to buy a new pillow, I took the search very seriously. I read hundreds of reviews on dozens of different pillows, but I was torn. I'm basically an all-around sleeper, meaning I don't have any one position I sleep in. I fall asleep on my stomach, transition to my side, and usually wake up on my back. It's near impossible to find a pillow that's comfortable for all three positions so I was struggling to make a choice. I found this pillow and decided that since I was torn between pillows that were made for sleeping on your stomach (these are usually about 2.5 inches) and pillows made for sleeping on your side (these are usually at least 3.5 inches or even higher) that by choosing this one I would essentially get to try both. Two layers for the stomach sleeping pillow, three or four for the side. I was wary of reviews warning against an intense smell, but I really didn't notice anything terrible upon opening it. A slight foam-y odor, but it dissipated completely within a couple of days, and I slept on it that night with no problems. First, I tried four layers (the way that it comes) and knew immediately that it would be way too much for me. Three felt good when lying on my side (like seriously, if you only sleep on your side, it would be perfect) but felt like a bit too much when resting on my stomach. When I tried two layers, I had my goldilocks moment. Even though three layers felt better on my side, two was still comfortable for it, and felt perfect to me while on my stomach and back. I've waited several weeks to write this review to see if I changed my mind, but I love this pillow so much. It enabled me to try three different pillows for one price, removing/adding layers is simple, and my neck pain is finally gone. Since I settled on two layers being perfect for me, that essentially left me with a whole extra pillow which I put in a case and gave to my husband, who also loves it. If you're looking for a new pillow but aren't sure what amount of support would be best for you, I highly recommend trying this one. I'm so glad I did. (And I'll say this just because I'm always curious when reading reviews: I was not encouraged to post this by the seller and got nothing from it, I'm just posting in the hopes of being helpful!)

I am a 115lb side sleeper and need all four layers. I was thinking three would be good for me because I tend to like a lower pillow but the foam is quite squishy. each layer is fairly thin. I am liking this pillow but I find I need to adjust the layers before I go to bed each night as they do move a little within the case.

Enfin trouvé le bon, après plusieurs achats. Réglables, juste assez ferme, reprend bien sa forme. Je recommande l'investissement!
