On Apollo website it states this model can be uhf or vhf programmed in the menu, I need one in the 150 mhz band, willl this work for me?

The VHF (135-174MHz programmable) version of this pager is NOT sold at Amazon. Contact us directly to order the VHF version. Only the UHF (430-470MHz) version (the most popular by far) is sold at Amazon.

Can you please clarify the frequency range? the listing says 450-470mhz but you've said 430-470 mhz in the questions? dapnet pocsag is 439.9875 mhz

Hi- 430-470 mhz is the correct range. Thanks for pointing this out! -Dan

Who do I go through to activate it.??

Please google "pager service" or "wireless pager service" for your area and select a company that provides coverage for the area where you need it.

Is this one also programmable in the 150mhz range (vhf) as the Apollo website states?

This item is the UHF (430-470MHz) version (the most commonly used range by far) and cannot be programmed in the 150MHz range. You need the VHF (135-174MHz programmable) version of this pager which is NOT sold at Amazon. Contact us directly to order the VHF version.
