Strong, Clear, and Reliable – Perfect for Everyday Repairs
I’ve used a lot of different glues for small repairs and DIY projects, and this Gorilla Clear Glue has quickly become my go‑to. It’s strong, easy to use, and the clear finish makes a big difference. ✅ What I loved: Crystal clear finish: Dries nearly invisible, which is perfect for projects where you don’t want messy glue showing. [lowes.com] Strong hold: Once it fully cures, the bond is very solid and holds materials together securely. [walmart.com] Works on almost anything: I’ve used it on plastic, wood, and metal, and it sticks well to all of them. [gorillatough.com] Water resistant: Holds up well for both indoor and outdoor use (like quick fixes around the house). [gorillatough.com] Non‑foaming formula: Unlike some other Gorilla glues, this one doesn’t expand or make a mess while drying. [lowes.com] ❌ Small things to note: It’s not an instant glue—you do need to clamp or hold items in place for a bit while it sets for best results. [gorillatough.com] Full strength takes time (around a day), so it’s better for repairs you can leave alone. [gorillatough.com] 💡 Real‑life use: I used this to fix a broken plastic piece and also for a small wood repair, and both turned out great. The clear finish made the repairs almost invisible, which I really liked. 📦 Verdict: If you want a reliable, all‑purpose glue that’s strong and doesn’t leave ugly residue, this is a great choice. It’s especially good for projects where appearance matters.

Crystal Clear, Strong, and My Go-To Glue for Rigid Materials
I absolutely love this glue and keep it on hand at all times. Gorilla Clear Glue is my go-to adhesive whenever I’m bonding rigid materials like wood and metal. It dries crystal clear, which makes it perfect for projects where appearance matters just as much as strength. Keep in mind, that good surface prep is essential when gluing any and all materials. I use this glue regularly when making my leather knife strops for sharpening, and it has never let me down. It provides a strong, reliable bond, is easy to work with, and holds up well over time. The water-resistant nature is an added bonus for shop projects that may see humidity or occasional moisture. If you need a dependable, clear, all-purpose glue for workshop or DIY projects, this one is a winner and earns a permanent spot on my bench.

If only the unused glue would last...
My go-to glue for repairing things. Follow the simple directions on the bottle to make the repair work. It usually does the repair with little fuss or bother. My only concern with the glue is its durability. I've never finished even close to an entire bottle of glue without it hardening or the nozzle clogging, which would mean throwing it away and buying another. Yes, even with the durability issue, it's worth the few bucks to have a good bottle on hand for emergencies.

best glue hands down
Have used in all sorts of things. Plastic, rubber, wood. I like being able just to trim a bit off the end to control the flow

My favorite glue
I do 3d printing projects for people. This is the glue I use whenever I need to fasten things together. Not great for Jewelry, but for just about anything else is is wonderful.

Great glue but short shelf life.
This is a great glue for many products and it does NOT foam. I used it successfully for wood turned items, metal parts and general home repairs. The original glue foams and makes a mess. This glue goes on and dries clear. Be careful about the quantity you buy. I bought a few bottles , used them in a season and couldn’t be more pleased. One year I bought a large bottle , didn’t use it all, stored over winter in an Un heated shed and it solidified hard as a rock.

Easy to use and clean up, dries clear, has good working time
I started using this glue for hobby work. I primarily used 5-minute epoxy before, but sometimes I needed an adhesive that had a longer working time to position parts, and allowed easier clean-up for any runoff or excess before the glue sets. I also wanted an adhesive that would dry clearly; 5-minute epoxy has a yellowish cast sometimes. So far, this glue has worked well for me in regard to the characteristics I mentioned above. I'm not sure it's as strong as the epoxy, but in many cases the joints I'm making are not highly stressed so it's not an issue. Since it doesn't set as quickly as 5-minute epoxy, I sometimes have to stop and let the joint set, but sometimes the clear finish and easier cleanup area good trade for the additional setting time. And naturally, it's also easier to squeeze some glue out of the bottle than to stop and mix up the 2-part epoxy. I intend to keep using this glue for my hobby work, and will likely also use it for home repairs.
