Super easy to use! Works great!
I had no idea that my All-In-One desktop computer didn't have a CD/Drive until I needed it! I was so shocked to see how affordable buying an external drive was! This little thing plugged right into the usb port on the side of my computer and it was instantly detected with zero hassle or extra steps! I burned a CD for the first time in over 20 years for my daughter and it came out perfect! 10/10

Excellent for retro
Works great for my needs. Since most laptops don't come with cd/dvd drives anymore this will be nice to have for watching dvds or for disc pc games. Retro stuff that is not hip again. Yet. The usb cord is not very long so I may end up getting an extender for it so if I have my laptop in bed I can place the drive on my nightstand. There is a usb to c adapter included with it so that is a plug in option as well if you don't have a spare usb port.

The DVD drive works as it is designed. Nice to have the USB adapter that enables it to be plugged into a type C USB which is all I have on my Mini MAC.

Great Option For Those Needing A Disc Drive
I purchased this drive in order to convert some of my old CD collection into digital files for easy playing. I had a previous external disk drive that is over 10 years old and this one was a great upgrade. Very easy to set-up and use. I have used this on both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC with no issues at all. The speed of the device has been great for everything that I have used it for. The cable length could have been longer, but then again, I think everyone would have a different opinion on what would be the perfect length. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

works fine with my macbook air. a little bit noisy. 3 stars because it does not work with blu ray disc. i tried a couple but it doesnt run.

Relive history with this external DVD/CD disc drive.
Unfortunately, computers are no longer sold with built in DVD/CD players. But those old discs can still be utilized with this external drive. I have a lot of history on those once popular discs, and this device has allowed me to experience their content once again. It works fine and the cost is well worth every penny.

Low Quality - Work sometimes, fail most other times
This reader would work probably 20% of the time. There were some DVDs that it would not be able to read, whereas a bit pricier product I purchased could read them. Sometimes the reader would stop mid-disc read and cause errors. This product just doesn't perform to fit my needs. Maybe if you were ok with this working some of the time and being quite slow, this would work for you. Otherwise, stay away from this product and buy one that's better quality.

Speedy little Device
Great quality for the price, it is small and compact therefore doesn’t take up a lot of space, it reads CDs really quickly, so it’s speedy in that department, I also had no trouble with connecting it to my PC. I would recommend as the price point is fair and you never know when you need it as most new models don’t come with built in CD/DVD readers anymore. If

Not working properly
It's not working properly, it's getting too late to open the drive and it's not reading properly and heat
