These cord protectors are heavy and sturdy! We got these to run extension cords across a gravel path for our church’s drive through live nativity. They work great! They provide plenty of space to run a couple of heavy duty cords and plenty of protection from the gravel below as the vehicles drive over them. The protectors lie flat, don’t stick up too high, stay in place and are just what we needed to keep our expensive extension cords in good shape.

These speed bump cord/hose/pipe protectors are excellent for home use. Super sturdily made from recycled materials. True as advertised sized cable and cord channels. Easily connected and nicely weighted. Thus, with a bit of initial odor, but nothing unreasonable. Particularly if you plan to use them outside or anywhere other than a living area. In our case, we needed something to protect a fuel oil line running from our new fuel oil tank to an oil-fired furnace in our basement because our previous buried fuel line was no longer allowed by local code and running the line overhead proved to be impossible. Thus, these ramps worked great for protecting the new and extremely fragile 1/2" copper fuel line that we had to run on top of our cellar floor at many times less cost than other options. Per my photos, I used the full blocks going across the floor and split the blocks in half lengthwise to protect the line running along the wall. They are not meant for heavy commercial or industrial use and are clearly marked as such. However, I suspect most homeowners would find them to be more than adequate.

I bought these to run an extension cord across my driveway for Christmas lights on my front fences. They do a good job of holding up to being run over while protecting the cord. I just wish there was more traction underneath; bigger vehicles tend to drag them a couple feet when they drive over them. For what it's worth, it took three of them to cover the width of my driveway. They do interlock nicely so that the stripe feels like one solid whole.

We use these in a production environment to protect equipment cables, they work great. Nice and sturdy, pretty flat so it's easy to roll over them, and protected the wires great thus far. Durable materials.

I've been driving 3500+ lb vehicles over it on a daily basis, and it has help up well.

I use these when running low and high voltage lines across the driveway during Halloween. Mowing service crossed it and tore up two sets of the doors. Make sure any lawn mower has the blades stopped and raised up when crossing this. I secure the doors with tape now.
