Our pup loves this toy - she treats the little chipmunks like they are precious to her. Barely holds them in her mouth. Love to have them thrown so she can retrieve.

My shih tzu loves it!! He got the first two out easily, but had to work hard to get the last one out. That’s fine because it’s meant to make them work for it. Smaller than the video made it look that I saw, but perfect for his little mouth and face. He carries the whole thing around and won’t let me touch it because that’s part of the game as well for him. I really love it and glad I got it. He’s got plenty of stuffed animals but he gets bored with them. Great price for the entertainment. You can stuff the squirrels in different ways so it’s a little different each time. He used to love to chase squirrels when he could see better, so this is the next best thing, being able to see him go after the squirrels this way.

My dog loves this toy! We are on about our 3rd set. Other dogs come and rip them apart but they are "refillable " too! Such a wonderful toy. Our YorkiePoo is about 11 lbs.

I like it, my dog liked it, but he didn't have it for long at all. He has a real problem picking at things. If things are not smooth, or have some kind of string or bump, he will pick at it til he has it gone. That is what happened here. I had to immediately cut off the tags (as I knew I would), cut the little tufts of hair on their heads, and cut their whiskers. He went after all of those things. THEN I had to take the stump away from him because he pulled at the leaf design, and pulled that off of there. THEN he went after the little tiny pocket of material inside one part of the stump that sticks out on the inside. This dog is so picky, lol! He LOVED the little squirrels while he had them. Easy to squeak, and carry around, but as I said, he started picking at them little by little, and then they weren't safe for him to play with. They only lasted a few days at best. I ordered him the junior size, but wished I had ordered larger. He is about 5lbs, but loves larger toys than him. He loves all toys though.....I just was disappointed in how incredibly small it is. It came in this little box, not much bigger than a soft ball would fit in. So, it's pretty small. Of course, it is squishy, so it doesn't need a big box or anything. I know they have replacement squirrels, but they wouldn't last long with him at all. If you don't have a chewer, or a curious pup, this would be a great toy. It's still adorable, and a good toy for other dogs, so I am still rating it a 4. Our pup is just an aggressive chewer, curious, investigative pup.

My puppy loves this toy...and I love that she's entertained so well for so long. I highly recommend it. She loves shaking it and chasing the squirrels that fly out.

this is an amazingly cute dog toy -or lil guy loves it. The squirrels are hilarious and land on their feet when you throw 'em. The squeakers inside of them are good quality. It was a pleasant surprise when these arrived -bc we didn't expect much.

Once the squirrels came out they never went back in to their little pad. The dogs loved them and we play squirrel all the time

Great product. My puppy loved it!

Pros.This toy is super cute. My dog LOVES both the log and the squirrels. And he doesnt get bored of pulling the squirrels out, playing with them by themselves or witt the log by itself. Cons. As other reviewers have said the basic package could be better and not have so many plastic elements. If your dog is a shredder, be Warner, the constitution isn't great - in one short play session my dog managed to shred off a lot of fluff. I've pulled handfuls off myself but there still seems to be more coming. And that could be hazardous in unsupervised play. It's a great toy that he seems to love but it's construction needs work.
