Great for small nuts & bolts
A friend of mine got into 3D printer fabrication years ago, and one of his favorite build methods for joining separate components is using "captured nuts" with small m screws. It's not really practical to use teeny tiny wrenches, so he was using needlenose pliers to handle them. The nuts kept slipping out and shooting across the room since the jaws are tapered, so I got him a pair of these to grab the nuts and screw heads securely, and they work perfectly for that purpose. There's probably a million other reasons to own a pair of small parallel jaw pliers.

Good quality for the price!!
First pair of parallel pliers, overall quality seems ok for what I paid. Time will tell.

Very nice fit and finish
I have three pairs of parallel pliers. I have one made in the USA (Sargent), one made in England (Maun) and this one made in Pakistan. To my surprise, this is the only pair hat has a tight joint, and where the jaws are actually parallel. The jaws have a nice ground finish. This pair of pliers was the least expensive but is made far better than the US and English ones.

Does one job well
The materials and construction are good. The handles seem very far apart with an awkward curve to them which just doesn’t seem conducive to detail work. I wrapped them with electrical friction tape and that seemed to help a bit. They do a job that you just can’t do with serrated jaws or jaws that are not parallel so I’ll live with them. I would feel better if they were $5 less than current price.

Excellent quailty pliers
Purchased these flat pliers to assist pulling leather stitching needles through. These pliers have a brass grip as well as a very flat and parallel grip. My needle remains very smooth and doesn't get marred. Recommend these piers if you need a firm non-marring grip.

Simply not parallel
When you buy a tool because it's supposed to be parallel, you expected it to be parallel at closure. These are not. As you can see in the image, the tips close significantly before the rear of the pliers do.

.
I use it on glass, for mosaics. There's no grip on the short handles.
