Trash Ninja Trash Can Deodorizer & Odor Eliminator, Unscented 2 Pack

I know this has some negative reviews but, for me, it worked wonders. At first I was disgusted when it arrived because I didn't know it only came as ONE deodorizer. I thought there were more than one in the pack. But after I put it in my garbage and realized that it got rid of every odor, I wasn't mad anymore and decided I would be buying this on a regular basis. I tried everything to keep my garbage from smelling, which came from cat disposal. Baking soda and disinfectant spray didn't do it. But this completely got rid of the odor. I mean no smell at all. I didn't expect it but, as I said, I'll be purchasing this on the regular. -- EDIT!!! -- It worked until it fell in the garbage. Not sure how this is supposed to last 3 months or longer when it doesn't even stay stuck to the lid for two weeks. Won't be buying again after all. A waste of money since it falls off and you don't even realize it. Money, literally, in the trash.

This was the worst product. It did nothing for the smell, it did not stay stuck to the trash can lid, and because I threw the box away, I cannot return it. I had high hopes for this because it said it was reusable - all you have to do is put it in the sun. It did not work from the start! Don't waste your money

I think it worked to get rid of the smell but the container did not close/latch properly so I had to fish out the pouch multiple times from my trash. The stickiness of the included sticker was also not the best.

I placed the Trash odor eliminator. It keeps my trashcan without any unwanted nasty smells.

I did not notice that these did anything for the smell I was very disappointed. I did not even notice a smell of citrus at all. Eventually it just falls into the trash container and ends up being thrown away. I will not buy them again.

I love the idea of this, thought it was cute, and was happy to try it. The scent out of the package was subtle but not bad. Unfortunately, I had problems from the beginning. It fell into the trash almost immediately, and I couldn't get it to stay stuck for anything. So I stuck it in the bottom, underneath the garbage, to work there. And it didn't do its job there, either. I couldn't tell a difference at all. So it's hard to use AND ineffective. I ended up pouring some cloves into the bottom of the trashcan beneath the bag, and THAT has worked much better than a commercial fix. I got that idea from my mom.

If you can see by the amount of stars I gave this product, you'd see I rated it a 5 and I'll tell you why. I have tried quite a few garbage order eliminators and have been greatly disappointed but I can honestly say, NONE of them compares to this one! Before receiving this item, I would brace myself to receive the most unpleasant garbage odors then spray the area with Lysol to dissolve them. With this item, the usage of Lysol is literally a thing of the past!!!!!!!! The charcoal REALLY works!!!! And the greatest thing about this is you can re-activate the filter by placing in the sun, its a money saver, comes with a holder for the filter, durable, eco-friendly, and sustainable!!! What more can you want? LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND YOU WILL TOO!!!

Received said "Trash Odor Eliminator" in a timely fashion (on time), however, that's where my satisfaction stops. Following the directions for mounting the deodorizer, I could not get the puck to stick (I cleaned the inside top of trash receptacle and made sure it was clean and dry. The small sticky 3M knockoff sticker, would not stick to the stainless steel cover. Using glue to hold it in place, and after a day, there was no scent emitting from the puck. Directions did not state any way to prepare the puck for mounting and use. A total waste of money. I cannot return the useless deodorizer. I certainly wouldn't recommend its use, cheap, cheap, cheap....and useless!

Zuerst war ich sehr skeptisch über den Nutzen. Nach dem ersten Einsatz muss ich jedoch sagen, es hilft. Die Geruchsbelastung ist fast komplett verschwunden. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das etwas "wabbelige" Filtergehäuse. Die Verschlüsse greifen nicht richtig und so kommt es vor, dass die Filter herausfallen. Bei mir hat etwas Panzertape geholfen. Zur Regeneration der Filter kann ich noch nichts sagen.
