I got a Wooble for Christmas and pretty much spent the whole day working on it- and completing it. It was so much fun. I had no prior experience with crochet but found the step-by-step instructional video to be very helpful and easy to follow. (Although I went slow). I love that everything you need comes included and the quality of yarn was great for a beginner- I had no issues with it. I thought the beak and wings were a little more challenging since you start from nothing on those, but it was very helpful that the original piece- where you start, was pre-started! Every aspect of my Wooble Crochet Kit was excellent!

While my finish product turned out well, it was a lot work for a beginner. The instructions were ok for the most part but I do feel like she left out small things here and there. All and all I would recommend, but if you a beginner I'd suggest a wooble with the least amount of features to it. I did the chick and the most challenging parts were the beak and the wings.

Pro tip: If you're trying to get your partner into a hobby so you can spend more guilt-free time on yours (yeah, I see you), this is a solid strategy. Everything you need is right there - the perfect amount of yarn, the right hook, and most importantly, super clear video tutorials that don't make you feel like an idiot. My girlfriend went from "what's a stitch?" to "just one more row" in like a day. The pre-started piece is particularly brilliant - it gets you past that frustrating beginning phase where most people quit. The duck itself is adorable, but that's not even the point. This kit is basically a trojan horse for teaching you actual crochet skills. Once she finished the duck, she was already hooked (pun absolutely intended). Now our living room has become a yarn paradise, and she's making everything from beanies to tiny animals. Worth it though - she's happy, I'm happy, and there are cute crocheted creatures everywhere. The videos are small and managable, and while learning I can go back when i make mistakes. You are not just buying the product of crochet Kit but really you are buying a whole course. AND when you think of it being a course with all materials included it is super affordable. I am having a great time learning!
