Didn't expect the case to be so hard on the outside, which causes it to be a bit slipperier than I expected. I thought it would have a bit more of that soft-ish plastic on the outside to help it to "adhere" to hard surfaces a bit better, but the only soft-ish plastic is on the inside of the case. The only issue this has caused me is that I can no longer place my phone on hard, ever-so-slightly tilted surfaces (like a slightly crooked table) without watching it slip and slide around -- and I have had one occasion where my phone slipped out of my pocket and fell to the ground with this case on it (which never used to happen with my old case from a different brand)... but that old one broke after a 4-foot fall. On the other hand, THIS case is so sturdy and firm, that I'm fairly convinced I could drop my phone off the Empire State Building, and still be able to take bets on whether it would break or not. (...Please don't actually try that.) I'll also say that the red case is brighter and more orange-y than I expected from the pictures. I didn't like that when I first got the case, but I don't mind anymore because I'm so pleased with the strength of the case. However, if you wanted something closer to red rather than red-orange, then you are not going to get that, and you might want to pick a different color.

Nice, sturdy cover. Looks great and doesn't add bulk to my phone. LOVE that they provide TWO tempered glass screen covers!!! AND it went on so easily!!!

I knew ordering this case that the so-called "tempered glass" screen protectors were unlikely to be tempered glass, since others complained that they are instead plastic. I also thought tempered glass would be too expensive (in a product of this price). So when I received mine with two intact (I mention "intact", because others complained that theirs arrived cracked. I am not disputing that. I just want to mention that at least sometimes they arrive intact) plastic protectors, I was okay with that. Others complained that the screen protectors are too small. I agree that they do not cover the entire surface. Maybe 3 millimeters of screen on the edges is exposed. I am not worried about that. Those thin areas are unlikely to hit an object, nor will I scratch them with a fingernail or such. So at worst, the phone will get a scratch in an area that has no impact on functionality, i.e. I will not have to look *through* a scratch to look at some important spot. In fact, my iPhone SE (2nd generation) has a bevel, so the entire screen is covered by the protector (except that I didn't do a perfect job installing the protector, so a tiny edge of screen has no protection) Nor do the screen protectors fit under the edges of the case to keep them in place. Instead, they attach by maybe a slightly sticky surface or maybe some kind of weird electrostatic interaction. The point is: like some other third-party screen protectors, you have to clean the surface of your phone thoroughly (to get rid of oil and especially tiny pieces of dust), remove a backing from the protector, then carefully apply it to the screen so that there are no or few bubbles. The case also comes with two little packets of stuff to prepare the phone for the screen protectors. Each packet contains a tiny piece of cloth (I presume suitable for glass) and little stickers of sorts to pick off dust. The problem is: there were no instructions. I didn't realize until after I applied the screen protector that they came with the packets of stuff. Maybe that might have helped me avoid the speck of dust that is under my protector. Maybe I wouldn't have doubted myself for a minute or two about whether I was doing the right thing ("Shouldn't it be the same size as my phone's screen?"). In the end, my screen protector is on. It's not perfectly aligned (the little packet also contains two stickers or such to help align, but I didn't know about that... Nor do they explain how to use them...). It doesn't look perfect. But that has been my experience with other screen protectors. If you want a case with a built-in screen cover, so that you don't have to deal with cleaning the phone, worrying about dust, getting things perfectly aligned, then this isn't the case for you. If you aren't too finicky about your screen having to look perfect, then I think this is a reasonable case. It feels sturdy. All the buttons function properly (once the case is on). For the price, I am reasonably satisfied. I just wish it had come with good instructions...

This phone cover protects the phone extremely well. The case is very hard and will not allow the phone to be damaged from either side or the back. My only suggestion for this case is that it have some kind of surface on the back that would not allow it to slide on very smooth surfaces. It can easily slide off a desk or counter, and if it were to land on the front, it could break the glass. That being said, I would rate it a 9.8 out of 10.

Fit perfect

I was skeptical at first because there is a tiny space uncovered by the screen protecter where the phone case ends, so it almost looks like the screen protector didn’t fit. I am happy to report, it works just fine and is very sturdy. There are multiple cracks in my screen protector by now but my phone screen remains unscathed. The phone case is beautiful as well, sturdy like an otterbox but not as bulky.

This case works great and at a great value. My very first phone, I dropped serious money on the case and later realized that I take pretty good care of my stuff and I don’t need some “military grade” case that blocks water, dust, dirt, and nuclear fallout. This case does it’s job and keeps the phone from feeling too bulky. Highly recommend.

I use hard cases on all of my Apple devices, iPhones, iPads, laptops, etc. They do offer a lot of protection at the expense of adding bulk to the device. i also have used screen protectors on all of my devices....iPhones, iPads, iPods, you name it.....a few times the screen protector cracked while protecting the underlying screen 100%. Well worth it! The XISXI is the first of any case I ever purchased to include screen protectors too. Typically I’ve purchased each seperately. This XIWXI package of a hard shell protector didn't work out as well as other brands I've typically used by name since they always were excellent in design, fit, and protection. The XIWXI protective case does offer decent protection to drops and also has a nice tight fit to prevent debris from getting into the side and back of the iPhone. Bare in mind that a good protective case will make you slim and small SE feel more like a larger iPhone, but, if you are rough on your mobile or in situations where you need solid protection, this case will do the job! My major issue is the screen protectors, although perfectly aligned to the edges and opening on the front of the SE were, began to lift off slightly on the left side of the screen. It's a large enough void to see clearly when the screen is darker. Another small are towards the top also did the same thing. Given my alignment was right on left to right and top to bottom, I can only assume this glass was a tiny bit too wide across the narrow width and was nudging the sides of the SE where its frame is raised a bit unlike other iPhones that remain flat across the entire face of the phone. Many of the SE screen protectors offered on line also fit the older iPhone 7,8s and so I wonder if the SE raised frame obscures the area where only the glass screen protector should be or maybe a very tight squeeze for the SE or a die issue for cutting these screen protectors? Sorry to say, this case and screen protectors will be returned and I will try to find a screen protector that's been confirmed to fit the SE specifically and lay flat and hold true with its glue. I've used JTech products many times not just for my iPhones and iPads, but, they make camera screen protectors too and I've used all of these products made by JTech with never a single need to return them, so that's probably where I'll head for my replacement screen protector purchase for the SE. 5 stars for the case, 2 stars for the lousy screen protectors. I can’t give it 3 ½ stars so rounded down to 3 stars over-all.
