- Praxis Folding Pocket Knife, 3.75" Blade Wood Handle C803H

I keep reading about how this company, Civivi is making great knives at reasonable prices. Okay, I'll bite. Let me see this for myself... Initial impression: Well constructed, wood handles are nice, good deep pocket clip. Lighter than I expected, maybe due to the wood grips. Good detents - won't open without firm encouragement, flips open smoothly, crisp snap of the liner lock - no play or wiggle, everything's nice and straight. By all accounts this should already be a $250 knife for approx. $40... But here's what really surprised me - this was the sharpest factory edge of any knife I've owned. Literally razor sharp, will shave hair off with ease. Straight to the top of my (admittedly small) EDC collection. I would strongly recommend this knife and I will absolutely buy another, or probably a few more, from Civivi.

It’s a good pocket knife. It’s Chinese. It works and comes very sharp. The belt clip might pull out of the handle as it’s screwed to the wood, but you can glue it or fasten it to the other side like I did. This is my second one as TSA got the first one because I forgot I had packed it.

Its a very very sharp knife and a great overall knife. It has been my daily carry knife since I purchased it. My only knock would be that the clip seems to be getting loose.

The CIVIVI Praxis Folding Pocket Knife represents a perfect balance of design, functionality, and affordability for knife enthusiasts and everyday carry (EDC) users. The wood darkened over time and --- I love it. Please note: The pocket clip on mine fell off after about a year. I really didn’t use it so -- it wasn’t a big deal for me. this is my 3rd. civivi makes great knives. this drop point blade is perfect. it came paper cutting sharp and they are easy to sharpen.

Out of the box, this is a very well designed EDC knife that is simple and elegant. It fits my large hands comfortably and is discreet in the pocket. The finish is excellent, components are tight, and the blade is very sharp. It is not expensive, not heavy, and for everyday carry it is my choice.

I really like this knife. Looks great with the wood and the blade is SUPER sharp. My only complaint is when opening the blade it does not just snap fully open, you have flick your wrist to get it to fully lock open.

This is my everyday carry knife. I take it every where I go, and I open and close it all day because I like it's smooth action. It can be opened and closed with one hand be careful. I have used it to cut steak, open boxes, cut plastic and what ever else you use blades for. The only issue I have had is the wood handle has absorbed the oils from my hands so it has turn a little darker. I have had no function issues just the clip had to be tighten. It carries well in your pocket but it does imprint a little. It's still as sharp as the day I purchased it,but I do use a knife sharpening rod. It's a good knife that doesn't break the bank.
