Perfect for inks
I use these applicators for inks. They are perfect for the work that I do. I have fantastic control of the amount of ink used, and I can draw with the applicator. I am also able to get small beads of ink from just taping the tip to my artwork.

Great Customer Service
I purchased two different sets of bottles from this company. After purchasing the first set one of the wires in the lid to keep the glue flowing was wiggling out. I contacted the company and they sent me a new lid in less than a week. I was very appreciative of the fast response so I didn't hesitate to purchase from them again. The bottles are perfect for intricate gluing. I use them daily in my crafting with a 3-in-1 glue that has been thinned and for a water-based glue. They work perfectly for my needs.

A decent applicator
These applicators work fairly well. I used paint, and the applicators allowed me to produce a consistent fine line. I like how the cap stops the paint from drying up in the thin filament. However it was difficult to apply enough pressure to the bottle to get the paint out of the applicator. I ended up using a large binder clip with a twist tie around the silver handles to keep the clip open a certain amount. Using this system, I would put the clip on the main bottle to create the pressure needed to apply the paint. This also allowed me to move my hand up closer to where the paint was exiting the applicator - using it more like a pen. Using the clip, it became very easy to paint my design.

More expensive than many but worth the cost.
These are some of the better third party applicator bottles. I have used a lot of different applicator bottles and most have issues at some point in their use. They develop leaks, don't seal well around the lid, needles come loose, or don't have resistance to some oils (penetrating oil mostly) or solvents. These however seem to work really well. I have used them with penetrating oils, Turpentine, alcohol, mineral spirits, mineral oil, fully synthetic oils, and liquid brass cleaners. I have not had one failure so far. Needle is fairly small gauge so they are not for overly thick fluids (like glues) but thinner fluids flow quite well... and they're made in USA. I would have to give these a thumbs up.

Fine Tip 20 gauge/0.5mm FINELINE Applicator - Love This Product!
I absolutely love this applicator so much I had to order more! I use these for acrylics, acrylics with Floetrol, alcohol-based ink, just alcohol (not the type that instantly makes one happy!), and I'm sure other liquids I didn't remember for this review. The only issue I have had with this size applicator tip is when I attempted to use it with the Pinata Rich Gold alcohol-based ink. That particular ink is a suspension and has metallic particles which settle and separate very quickly. This results in uneven applications as well as clogged tips. That's not a negative for either product - they just don't play well together. I have not had any problems with this applicator and other metallic paints. I love what I am able to achieve using this fine tip applicator and that I'm also able to manipulate the paint easily with the wire tip. Putting the cap wire inside the wire applicator tip can be challenging at times for those who may not have been granted an abundance of patience however, that is one of the selling points for me personally. I love the seal it provides. Weeks later, my mixed acrylics are fresh and ready to use; no drying out, leaking, or clogging. I highly recommend this product. Just remember to wipe the tip and wire off before replacing the wire into the applicator tip and you should not have any problem opening the applicator next time you're ready to create. Enjoy!

Be wary if you plan to use this with masking fluid. Clogs easily.
The price was appropriate but otherwise I'm very disappointed! After half filling one of the bottles with artists masking liquid, I could not get the thin wire back into the spout. I had to coax and push hard and thenthen ,...I couldn't get the cap off. I had to pull so hard the wire got dislodged from the cap and at the same time, the spout would not dispense any more of the masking fluid.....it had become clogged. I tried completely cleaning the spout but what a bother. Takes so much time. The second bottle works only a little better.....still resisting the re-entry of the cap wire into the spout. Perhaps this is because the masking fluid dries on the wire as one is engaged in using the spout so I try to keep it clean but cannot get deep enough into the cape to wipe off the entire length of the wire. I would not recommend this for use with artists masking liquid and I would not repurchase. Perhaps I got a lemon. $8+ is a bit too expensive for one empty bottle and that's being optimistic that the second bottle is going to continue to work.
