Folkmanis, Puppet Hand Chicken

What a cute chicken/hen puppet!! It is such a large, soft puppet and easy to motion it’s beak’s mouth for speaking what you’d like it to say. The wings have finger slots to motion the wings as you’d like. It also has long legs that dangle and move around when you move your arm. The body is a perfect realistic creation of a chicken and it is well made. Great quality and price is decent. Would easily purchase more of this brand of puppets. Very pleased with purchase!

We love Folkmanis puppets and this one is so fun! This comical chicken brings a smile every time. It is truly hilarious and the children absolutely love it! The wings are made like gloves, so hands fit inside quite comfortably and when you move a wing with one hand and open and shut its beak with the other, it really comes to life. I almost wish I had a third hand just so I could work both wings and the beak all at once. This puppet has a lot of personality and character, and it is soft and very well made. I highly recommend!

This puppet is hilarious and both kids and adults love it. She is the hit of the show. It is well made, large enough for adult hands and you can put your hand into the finger-wings so she can count, salute or make a fist or a wave. It's an excellent puppet.

"Clucky Chicken", as we call her, is a HUGE hit with both the young and older kids who love to be the puppeteers. Super soft and well made. She seems to come to life! I love that you can stick another hand in one wing or the other for much more animation for the kids! My favorite puppet that we own! Its a family favorite at our house and is sure to be at your house too!

Good quality but arms cannot be articulated by hands.Those arms aren't gloves as implied, and require the use of sticks. Better for stage acts.Returned and bought the silly bird instead.

My son absolutely loves this puppet. It's so goofy looking with the pencil legs and it's cool that you can put your hands inside the wings for maximum hilarity. also.It's also super soft and cuddley. My son is on the spectrum and is also diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. He makes many decisions on most purchases by how something feels to him when he touches it or how his other senses are impacted, etc. He is beyond happy with this product. Thank you!

I teach preschool children with special needs, and they love this puppet! We named him "Mr. Cluck Cluck." Since I am a slave to the Marzano protocol, I use Mr Cluck Cluck to meet many of the requirements of my daily lessons. He is highly motivating to the kids so I use the puppet to help deliver our learning goals everyday. I like that the wings are sort of like gloves. I can manipulate the puppet's mouth with one hand while using my other to move a wing. This is a high quality puppet. The seams are tight, and it is well constructed. He's a sturdy bird, for sure!
