Tune-Bot STUDIO

Great tool when used properly. It doesn't replace using your ears entirely since tuning to specific hertz frequencies alone will sound different depending on the combination of drum construction and drum head being used. However, the Tune-Bot is especially useful for tuning up brand new heads more quickly, and for making quick fine-tuning adjustments after your drums have detuned a bit. The Tune-Bot honestly has a bunch of extra features that I don't have any need for, but they're there if you want them. My only gripe would be that it does seem to struggle a bit with snare drum resonant head readings. You'll need to put the tuner in "high frequency" mode and move the tuner in between every 2 lugs all the way around the drum to get the most accurate readings, I have found. Also, make sure the tuner itself is firmly clamped only to the rim, not the drumhead itself, since contact with the head will change the pitch and give you an inaccurate reading. Overall though, I'm very happy with it. Use it every time I tune my drums now.

My husband is a drummer, and this tuner has really helped his drum kit sound better. He used to tune by ear and with phone apps, which took a lot of time and weren’t always accurate. With the Tune-Bot Studio TBS-001, he can tune his drums faster and get the same sound every time. After a short time learning how it works, he found it easy to use, and the clip stays in place on the hoop. It feels solid and fits well with the clip on his DW Kit. We were worried the weight would make it unstable, but it feels secure. Now his drums have more clarity and punch, and even I can hear the difference. If you want a simple way to get a better drum sound, this tuner is a good choice. My husband is very happy with it.

I've been playing drums for a long, long time, but I've always struggled with tuning and tuning quickly. The tune bot made this process almost foolproof. It has a lot of features that I haven't even explored yet, so that's why the ease of use is 4 stars--it's not hard to use, but there is a lot that you can do with it, so you do need to sit down and work through the features and use the websites or the app to figure it all out. You also might need to do a little math to dial in your specific setup. BUT, I'm sure this gets easier over time, and the results have been absolutely worth it. I didn't want to admit I needed to spend this much money to make my kit sound good. But, it doesn't just sound good, it sounds great, and I feel confident about the sound. The only hiccup was with tuning the snare, and that was a little odd. It just seemed to have some difficulty with some of the lug resonances on the snare head. I did take the snare off when I tuned it, but my snare has just always been a little hard to tune. That's part of why I wanted to get this gadget. But I've read that some other folks seemed to have a similar issue on the resonant head of the snare--it almost seemed like, on the higher tensions, that there were times when it just read the tension wrong, like 100 off, but I knew it was obviosly not the low reading that came up. I could dial up, and then suddenly, over a certain tension the reading just dipped by, like, 100 points. That didn't make sense. So, I kind of went with it and used my ear a bit, and I got them in line together. Overall the sound is still superior to any tuning I've done in the past. The sound of the bass drum is also much better after applying the tune bot formulas and getting real readings. I love being able to get nice intervals between my toms. The bot can save settings too, and it can adjust for multiple setups. I haven't even gotten into any of that yet. Probably one could get away with the basic bot instead of the studio. But, it didn't seem like the 20 buck different between the two was enough to get the lesser tool. Others may have a better idea of that, since I've never played with the regular tune bot. Great tool, I wish I hadn't waited to get it.

Works well for tuning and keeping the heads tuned

Great little tuner to help you get your drums dialed in just right. A bit tricky at first to know just how to best use this and I suggest you watch some youtube vids demonstrating how best to use a tunebot. The unit is well made and works well in determining drum head resonance and fundamental frequencies.

I'm picky about my drum tuning and have always invested time before every show to tune my drums. While my drums have always sounded good the Tune-Bot has empowered me to make them consistently sound great! The FOH engineer at almost every show since I started using this, now compliments me on how good my drums sound. This on its own won't give you great sounding drums. If you take care of all the other elements (too many to list since little things matter) a Tune-Bot will let all your efforts consistently shine.

Bel outil et facile d’utilisation

電子ドラムと生ドラムを隣り合わせに配置していて、双方の音程差異に違和感があったので、このチューナーを使ってチューニングを合わせました。生ドラムは、叩いているうちに音程が下がってきますから、表示数値を頼りにこまめなチューニングが出来るので重宝しています。

Productazo!!..Si no quieres ir a obscuras al tensar tus tambores este producto es un "must" en tu arsenal de herramientas, la verdad te hace la vida mucho más sencilla, requiere que leas el manual con detenimiento pero una vez entendido es muy fácil de utilizar, lo recomiendo ampliamente!!

O afinador tune-bot dispensa comentários, tem uma ótima precisão e leitura, mas atenção, exige um certo conhecimento de afinação básica para poder tirar o máximo proveito, se entender de frequências e notas musicais melhor ainda, só me arrependo de não ter comprado a mais tempo pois é sensacional.

Eigentlich etwas zu früh für eine Rezension, denn man muss sich zunächst mal mit dem TuneBot und der App wirklich auseinandersetzen. Nachdem ich mich auch über die OvertoneLap-Homepage eingelesen habe und auch diverse Videos dazu im Internet geschaut habe, habe ich noch nicht das komplette Set aber schon einzelne Toms damit gestimmt. Das Ergebnis ist jetzt schon super ... alleine das Verhältnis zwischen den 3 Toms klingt viel gefälliger als vorher und die Trommel alleine klingt sehr klar und stimmig. Man kann den Setaufbau eingeben (sowohl auf der Homepage wie auch in der App) und erhält Tabellen mit Herzwerten, die dann über den TuneBot gemessen und über die Trommeln gestimmt werden können. Zunächst ermittelt man den "fundamentalen Ton" der Trommel (der tiefste Ton) und danach stimmt man jedes Fell über die Spannböckchen auf entsprechende Herzwerte. Es gibt auch Artist-Setups, die man ausprobieren kann. Man kann auch Tongenau stimmen und bei Bedarf das Set bis zu 3 Schritten nach oben oder nach unten umstimmen. Wenn man mal raushat worauf man achten muss, ist eine Trommel innerhalb weniger Minuten sauber durchgestimmt. Es geht aber nur bedingt, das Set aufgebaut zu bearbeiten, man muss die Trommeln abbauen und alle einzeln stimmen, dazu bin ich noch nicht gekommen, Bass und Snare fehlen noch. Von daher und vor dem Hintergrund des bisher schon vorhandenen Ergebnisses denke lch, dass das ein guter Kauf ist und das Stimmen damit deutlich schneller und genauer geht, indem man die Frequenzen notiert oder auch im Gerät abspeichert und beim nächsten Mal einfach wieder abruft. Bis hierhin bin ich begeistert davon und bereue den Kauf sicher nicht!
